Yellow Cake mix 1 (4-1/4 oz.)
Combine all ingredients and beat 4 min. Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes. Glaze with powdered sugar mixed with 1/4 Kahlua. I love this recipe because you throw everything together. Enjoy.
pound Savoiardi or lady fingers (champagne biscuits)
Beat egg yolks with icing sugar until light and frothy. Stir in Mascarpone cheese and vanilla and beat the mixture until well blended. Add whipped egg white and rum or brandy and mix well into a smooth cream. If you are using a whipping cream instead of Mascarpone cheese, whip it separately and do not add the whipped egg white at all.
In a 12x8x3 casserole dish, spread a layer of cream. Briefly dip the lady fingers in coffee sweetened with 5 tbsp white sugar, turning them on both sides and line them on top of the cream. Cover the whole dish area. Pour a second layer of cream onto the ladyfingers and then arrange more ladyfingers dipped in coffee. Repeat the same procedure up to the last of your ladyfingers. Top with another layer of cream. Using a sieve, sprinkle the powdered cocoa generously over the last layer of cream. Refrigerate overnight. I usually sprinkle chocolate shavings over the Tiramisu just before serving as an extra treat.
