Mike went up to the track on his own for the test. Upon the first startup the throttle stuck and the kart became an unguided missile. It crashed into a trailor bending the
whole front end of the kart. Unknown until later, when Mike tried firing up the kart for the second time. The engine wouldn't turn. Mike hasnt turned a lap in the Biesse World Formula and the engine has
already seized. The engine has been given to Cameron Motorsports Incorporated for analysis. Mike however did get track time. He took out one of the CMI Biesse Snr Rotax machines. Mike impressed veteran
karter Robert Wickens with his times whilst being on the track running with PTK Factory driver. No word yet on the WF engine but will be hearing soon. No worries, it will be ready for the first official
practice. |
