MYSTERY GRADUATE #4, Added 10/18/03

MYSTERY GRADUATE #3: Sue Barnes

Married 8 years, Current status: Divorced

WORK: Currently working as a Communications & Training Consultant with a major insurance company, mostly on web content. Still enjoying singing and would love to make my own independent films someday.

EDUCATION: Received a BA from UC Berkeley in Humanities, which set me up for high expectation but no marketable skills. I'm not bitter.... oh no!!! I'm a very introspective humanitarian excelling in rationalization, among other things.

GEOGRAPHY: I've been around the US and Canada on a 6-week, 10,000 mile road trip after college in 1981. Also went to Europe for about 6 weeks where my sister and I visited 7 Countries in 1985. Went to Mexico around 1984 and to Hawaii in 1989.

PHILOSOPHY QUESTION: I guess I'd have to say that I've just begun, at 43. There are things I have learned along the way, sure, but I believe the best is yet to come. I've seen a lot of places, and I keep finding myself there... so I suppose there is no running away, after all.

TOM MALLETT, Mystery Graduate #2

Tom married Paula Garbeff (what a surprise!!) and they currently reside in Salinas, California. They have 3 sons, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 horses, 11 chickens, a goat, and 2 pigs. Their children (and the family) are involved in 4-H. Tom and Paula have been married for 22 years - CONGRATULATIONS!

CAROL BEEBE, Mystery Graduate #1

As many of your guessed, our first featured graduate was Carol Beebe (Gallett). She was unable to attend the reunion due to a previous committment, but sent along her questionnaire along with a photo of her with her daughters.
Caroline resides in Chula Vista, California. She trained in nursing at SJ Delta Dollege as well as UOP. In 1981 she married Mike Gallett (also from our class) and they moved to San Diego. Carol began working at an Allergy & Asthma Research Center where she is now the Research Manager. Mike and Carol have since divorced, but remain friends.

Carol's travels have taken her to some unique places such as Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, And Europe. She also travels for speaking engagements across the nation.
Carol lists her greatest accomplishment, by far, as raising her two lovely daughters, Adrienne 18, who attends Cornell University, and Nicole, 15, who is a sophomore in high school. They are her pride and joy, and have been the greatest reward in her life! Thanks for sharing Carol!
