The beauty of the valley calls you farther into its depths, every thought on your mind lost in its swirling grasses and rolling hills, every sense heightened midst the gentle winds that wisp through your hair and the translucent sunlight against your skin. Eventually, you reach the inside barrier of the violet pool and your feet dance along its banks.

So preoccupied are you with the glory of the land, that you gasp and stumble backwards as your eyes come to rest on a graceful creature whose shimmering hide and magnificent structure rival even the beauty of the valley.

You stand, dumbfounded to be so near to the lovely carmor. The creature turns to regard you, silently curious, and waits for you to approach. You step forward cautiously, seeming to mirror the carmor's mixed feelings of fright, curiosity, hesitance, and friendship. Before you can think twice about it, however, your hand is against his muzzle,  stroking his soft hide so gently that you're both immediately reassured.

You laugh quietly, delighted, though the urge of the land, beckoning you to explore, eventually pulls you from your trance. You step back, unsure as to which feelings to give in to, but your feet are already in motion. The small carmor watches you, somehow understanding, the light in his eyes voicing his silent goodbye.

You smile.
