Spring is just around the corner. For all of you flower or vegetable gardeners who have been patiently waiting to get that green thumb active again, here are some tips to start your season off right.

First have an idea of what you what the finished garden project to reflect. Secondly take into consideration the elements you have to work with, sunny and or extremely shady areas must be considered when choosing the proper bedding plants. Moisture must also be considered along with the length of time you want to spend on your garden.

Next is the atmosphere you want your garden to reflect. For flower gardens some prefer a simple close ground coverage, others prefer a much more livelier approach. Maybe you just want to liven up things with some color.

Cost and time is another thing to consider. You certainly don't want to plant a huge garden that doesn't fit into a busy schedule.

What ever you choose, be sure to consider all the aspects above whether your garden is flower or vegetable have a starter plan mapped out.
