Slave's Unsanctioned Tournaments

The time has come for Dark Empire's third official tournament. This shall be a 1v1 single elimination Brood War tournament played only on ladder maps. This tournament shall not take place on one night only. To make things easier, we shall play this tournament over time with the easy, visual bracket system set up below. Due to the stretched timeline of this tournament, all matches MUST be observed by the Empress, or a member of the High Council (naturally a High Councillor involved in the tournament does not count as an observer for his matches). All matches MUST take place within a week of the start of each round. All rounds officially begin immediately after the previous round has ended (eg. If the final match of the Quarter Finals ends Wednesday evening, then the Semi Finals round begins immediately and all Semi Final matches must take place before the next Wednesday evening.) Matches which do not take place shall result in both members being eliminated from the tournament (one member may possibly continue should she/he have shown definite effort in contacting her/his opponent and activity in trying to meet that opponent online.) The official Start Date of each round shall be posted on the forum by the Empress. Participants are expected to set times with their opponents and an observer to further ease the flow of the tournament.
