i was experimenting with portraits, the left painting is the second attempt i love the colors and on the second one, which is my first attempt, i love the way the mouth looks but not the colors, ah, what to do! the one with the moustache was the third attempt to capture bob dylan
the lady below is me, married for 20 years with 5 children...
 i did not have any talent when i started painting
seriously in 1988 and today i think i developed my abilities nicely, the barn painting below is my rendition of a painting done by a dead master, it is a 20x24 oil and sells for 100 dollars unframed

my kitchen wall is enhanced by a number of finished and unfinished paintings, i paint in my kitchen...the larger picture was painted about 6 years ago, i call it .."the angels are coming" it is 30x40 and not for sale...
this was one of my first paintings i did when i thought i could actually make money selling paintings. i found he 30x40 canvas at a yard sale, taught myself how to transfer images onto the canvas and then paint in the lines, it was very technical and while i enoyed it i went for more fredom, it is an acrylic
this abstract painting is a self-portrait, it was an assignment given in an art class i took at the College of Marin way back in 1989...i attended the College of Marin full time while raising 4 of my boys, not an easy situation, i was majoring in academia, specifically to become a nurse, the fine arts was a minor, i attended the Junior College for 5 years..we propose and God disposes, i never became a nurse.
