Welcome To My 1979 Dodge Trans-Van Site.
I have purchased my first ever Trans-Van just last week, August 20, 2003. I am building this site in the interest of this fun vehicle.

This vehicle is 19 feet long(I think) and it has 360 motor with 3 speed automatic transmission. Body is in acceptable condition but frame is rusty 'cause of the Canadian climate. It comes with upgraded in dash A/C, after market Perfect Circle cruise control, seat belts for 4 people, sleeps 4, small sink with 10G(?) fresh water tank, 2 burner propane stove, 12V fridge, propane furnace, room for port-a-potty or closet, ready for plugin 110V at camp parks, 12V aux battery, lots of storage and more.
Things need to be done to this vehicle.
- Cruise control is not working as 1 of the hose is cut off and I can't seem to locate the other piece.
- Carpet needs to be changed as it's not layed out properly and also i don't like the green color carpet.
- A/C probably needs a charge as the compressor turns but no cold air comes out of the vents.
- An inverter is also needed 'cause of the 110V electronics i plan to use in my vehicle.
- A tuneup is required. Don't know when the last tuneup was done.
- Carburattor needs to cleaned and adjusted. Throttle tends to stick at cold starts.
- Need a new propane tank. Current tank is probably the original one that came with the vehicle back in '79. I wonder if it's safe/alright/legal to install/mount a BBQ tank in place of this horizontal RV tank?
