>I think you will be interested in the following secrets

  1. The Ring:Unbeknown to us innocent viewers, hidden under the ring are microphones to make the bumps sound more impressive. Also, concealed along with the microphones there are springs. "Gasp" I here you Mitsuiholics thinking. The springs obviously create the illusion that the wrestler bounces slightly off the canvas from the power with which he was thrown down.

  1. Talking:More rotten tricks played here. During the match the wrestlers tell each other what moves they are about to do. The referee is also used for this.He passes on messages.
  1. The Crowd:Another cunning secret is the crowd. This may not apply as much now in the WWF, but if you see people picked on or attacked by a wrestler in the crowd, he/she is normally planted there and knows what is going on.On one of the announcers table there is a guy monitoring the crowd's interest in the current match. He shows signs to the ref. One finger means the crowd is enjoying it and the wrestlers can carry on for a while longer. Two fingers usually mean that the ref should pass on the message to the wrestlers to wrap it up soon. If he shows a pen then the match should be stopped as soon as possible.
  1. Busted open:To make the wrestler appear to be busted open (bleeding) the camera focuses on the other guy while the busted open one cuts himself open with a blade concealed say in his pocket. They know where to cut themself as to make it harmless.
  1. Weapons:Ever wondered how wrestlers are put through tables. They are very lightweight tables made of compressed sawdust and they break very easily. The centre is the weakest point. Chairs are exactly how they look. When it looks like they hit them on the back of the head, normally they hit them on the beefiest part off the back. Barbed wire is normally real, except inWCW wear it is rubber tipped. This is just a guess but does anyone think that the belts aren't metal. That's all the weapons I can think of that are used regularly today.
