All of the fear and all of the lies

-Chapter one-

"What the hell?" Angela spat her coffee over the table, dangerously close to Shelley's photo album. The uproar of screams came from all directions. "God! Did Kian drop his pants or something?" Angela said sarcastically "Did I miss it? HaaHaa! Ang! Ang! Looks it's the Prev! Aaah! Ang! Hurry up! Ohmigod! I can see Anto! Antoooo" By this time Shelley had jumped from her seat and was half way out of the door with her camcorder, photo album, camera, arms full of gifts and one of her three copies of the Westlife album. "God! Calm down! Ok, I know Ronan-lookalike 'life, Ronan soundalike 'life, nick Carter wannabe 'life, pony boy 'life and peroxide 'life. but no short fat 'life so, one question. WHO THE HELL IS ANTO?" Angela snarled acerbically. Angela and Jamie had been best friends since Angela had moved to Shelley's school six months ago. She'd moved to Essex from Dublin and had absolutely no interest boy bands. "Oh god! Ang! I can see Nicky! Im gonna cry! Niiiiiickyyyy! Ahhhhhh! Niiiiiiiiix!! Nicky I love you!" By this time they were in the thick of the craves. Cameras were flashing are girls were ripping each other's hair out to get close to the barriers. "Oh please! Someone shoot me now!" Angela stood next to Shelley looking ready to die of embarrassment. She'd always known of Shelley's infatuation with Westlife but she never mentioned it much and let her get on with following them with her own group of "London Frenz" Who were all, in Angela's opinion, as sad as each other. Angela stood and observed the people around her. If they could see there faces surely they would be too embarrassed to stand there screaming. right? "Shelley! Why do ya do this? Surely you've had every dodgy photo and crappy piece of mechanise signed already?" Just then a group of girls at the front turned round quickly "Ok, I hear a dub accent, I can sense a Dub at thirty paces" A tall girl with wavy blonde hair muttered somewhere against the barriers. "God Angela! Look, they're talking about you! Their not craves, there in with the band! Please! Angela pretend you're a westlife fan so we can hang with them!" Shelley muttered with excitement "Oh purleeaseee! You're all stalkers! Just cos they're older, westlife probably think they sad aswell! God! Im automatically a teenybopper cos im from Dublin! Im cool cos im Irish? That is sooooo shallow!" "Oh, Angela, PLEASE!" The look in Shelley's eyes was enough to pursued Angela. At the end of the day, who cares if a few London girls thought she was "livin la Vida Westlife"? "So, are they gonna stand there and stare at me? Am I royalty cos im from Dublin? Christ! Does that make girls from Sligo goddesses?"

-Chapter 2-

Westlife were doing an interview for Smash hits in a posh hotel somewhere in the centre of London. Although Angela had been up to London with Shelley once or twice before she'd never met Westlife, Shes been to plenty of concerts and seen them from a distance but never gone up a spoke to them, why should she? She acknowledged Westlife were a great band with great looking, nice enough lads, but to go and wait around dodgy backstage entrances was not her thing. Maybe if she'd have seen them in a night club. Or walking down the street, but she hadn't, they were international pop star sensations and at this moment in time she was a one of the sad, lonely girls who was waiting for the band outside a hotel. "What part of Ireland d'ya come from then?" A voice hit Angela from out of the crowd, That blonde girl who obviously thought she a high queen of westlife fans and best mates with the band was talking to her in her thick London accent and chewing on gum "Em, Me? Dublin, Why?" "Oh, well, I suppose you pop round to Nicky and Bryan's house all the time and did ya go to Nicky's birthday party, well did ya wait outside, have you ever seen them in the centre of Dublin? Did you see the on the BSB tour? Have you ever met Nicky's mum? Isn't she lovely? Do ya know what hotel they stay in Dublin? What was the goss at Day in the Park? Does Bryan really go clubbing all the time when he's home" By this time Angela was pondering the prospects of hanging her self off scaffolding on a near by building site and Shelley was making it blatantly obvious that she was friends with this Irish girl who seemed to be the centre of attention. That is she WAS the centre of attention. Suddenly Angela and Shelley were crushed against each other and the piecing screams were once again present from every direction. Whether or not it was intentional Shelley found herself crushed right up against the barrier and right in place that Nicky and Bryan were walking towards. "Oh! How nice! They've decided to sign, it must be all your screams of "I love you Nicky" that have been disturbing the interview" Angela sneered. She was still spiteful from the last time Shelley had dragged her to London and they'd stood outside the BBC studios in the rain for 4 hours just to see Shane walk past.

-Chapter 3-

In all the confusion of all the screaming the loud blonde girl (whos name seemed to be Starcy) had misheard Angela. "Hey! Move out lasses! This girl's come over from Dublin to see the lads let her to the front to see Nicky, he's her fave inne?" As if the heavens had open and god had spoken the rabble of fans calmed and Angela was shoved to the front about two metres from Shelley. As Nicky came closer the screams got louder, Shelley smiled excitedly as she asked him to sign a picture she'd took last month and even got to give him a kiss on the cheek. Angela grinned, Much as she complained it was worth coming up to see Shelley this happy. As she looked around all the fans wiggled around with the same glow as Shelley and even Starcy looked humbled! Angela looked calmer, she thought about how cute Bryan's voice was on "Season in the sun" and how Nicky didn't really look like Ronan Keating up close. "Hello! You're new! What can I do you for? I mean do for you?" Bryan said with a cheeky grin. "She's come over from Dublin to see yuz, ant'ya?" Starcy shouted from over the top of their heads. "Oh, so you're a girl from the home land? I suppose you know the Dublin lasses are my faves don't ya? How long are you over for? Will I be seeing you again? "Erm... I live in England now" "So, we could be seeing a far bit of you? I'll look forward to it." "Bryan, you gotta come back in" Nicky interrupted "Nix, This girls one of our own, a Dub!" "Ah! Why didn't ya call me over, we could have compared shamrocks" Nicky said giggling. "Nah, Nickster! I didn't want to share." Angela stood back and watched each member of Westlife talk to Shelley; she'd never noticed such a strange look on her face. Angela resigned to the back of the crowd and waited for Shelley and Westlife were beckoned back to the interview. Starcy was wittering on in her ear and Shelley was still recovering from kissing Nicky. "WOW! Shelley! Nice one mate! Kissing Nicky! WOW! Lucky lass! Are ya happy? Worth the trip up was it? Heehee! You met them all in one day! Got all ya pix signed! So, are you going off to the hotel now? Where's the tube station?" For once Angela wasn't sulking about stalking Westlife round London in the cold. She would be excited, wouldn't you? Meeting anyone famous would excite anyone! Shelley looked right at Angela. "No, Im going home" Angela searched Shelley's face for a smile or a laugh, but the didn't find one. "What's up wid ya Shells? U met all of Westlife and they all stood and talked to you properly, I thought that's what you wanted?" "Ang! All they wanted to talk to me about was you. For god sake you're not even a westlife fan and they can't resist you. They were like giggling schoolboys! God! You always get all the lads, all the grades and everyone likes you. One thing I had that was mine was Westlife, My obsession! One thing I had which you didn't. And you even beat me at that. That's not a true friend" And with that Shelley disappeared between the depleted crowd of people. And once again Angela was alone.

-Chapter 4-

Angela routed thru her pocket to find her mobile. "Christ Shelley! Answer you're damn phone, Jesus! Pleaseeeee" Angela looked round, she realised the depleting crowd of girls hailing taxis and walking towards the tube station had noticed she was talking to herself. "Shelley? Is that you? It's me, Im soooooo sorry! I didn't mean to do anything, I didn't even wanna be there but starc." "Its ok Ang, Im sorry, Im just really stressed. Im really tired and I didn't tell you but it said in the papers today that Bry has a new girlfriend and you just wouldn't understand" Shelley said softly filled with pain Angela stepped back she felt a failure as a friend "God, Shelley, I know how much Westlife mean to you, I know how much Bryan means to you even if I don't feel the same way, If ever ya wanna talk about it im here. And I know at least 100 ways the torture this lil'' hussy whos stolen Fads' off ya Heehee!" "Erm. Ang, that's great but be a babe and put ya phone away cos we look a couple of eejits. Im only over 'ere by the chemist." The two girls turned to each other looking mighty embarrassed at the fact they were stood 20 feet away from each other. Angela grabbed Shelley just as she burst into tears. She wasn't a weak person but lately things had been getting to her and although Angela was sure no man would make her best mate cry, to Shelley Bryan wasn't just any man. "Righty oh! Grab a taxi quick stop for mega milkshakes at Maccy Ds and off to the hotel for pursuit of operation "Shelley-whips-bimbos-butt-and-seduces-lifer (Any Westlifer!) " Angela declared in full volume as she grabbed Shelley's hand and pulled her towards the cheapest, dodgy-est taxi ever. **BACK @ THE HOTEL** "God! Swanky digs ya men are kept in eh? Thought they'd be more people here than us tho'" Angela exclaimed still in full volume while slurping on the biggest choccie milkshake ever. "Shit, shit, shit!! Oh god! I hope they haven't flown out, I'll die. Im gonna scream, I cant believe I dragged you here." "Shell" "I always do things like this." "Shell!" "Im sick of following them any-." "SHELLEY!! K-i-a-n behind y-o-u" Angela said smirking

-Chapter 5-

"Wha? Jesus! Bloody hell Kian, erm, Hi, Sorry, Yeah, How are you? Ain't you flying out?" Shelley said in a stumbling confusion. "Ok, Hi, Im great and obviously not. So, you two outsmarted the others then. Do ya want that signing?" Kian asked pointing to the album in Shelley's hand. "Hello again girls! Got back here quick didn't yuz? Its Michelle isn't it? And ah! Miss Dublin! Angela?" "Erm... Yeah, thanx, its Shelley. How are you Nicky?" Shelley was still in complete shock that he'd remembered them. "Hi again" Angela interrupted "Were thinking of booking in this hotel tonight, its not like were stalking you. Haahaa are ya gonna tell us if its any good. or are ya gonna show us?" Angela always had this power with men to flutter her eyelashes and wrap them round her little finger. Shelley envied her sometimes but right now she was too worried about that fact her best mate had just told the five most perfect men on the planet a lie that would no way come off. She stood there and nodded unconvincingly. "Erm.Well, Im sure they'd no problem with you coming in for a drink, oh I mean to look around" Mark said feeling obliged to react considering Angela had practically invited herself in already. "Haahaa! Who know how to cheer up there best matie?" Angela smirked. She was on top formed and was determined to lift Shelley's spirits. "Ang, what the hell are you doing? We can't stay here. Its £200 a night. Want are we gonna do? I can't talk to them like normal people! What about there girlfriends, they'll be in there. Shane's seeing that girl Melody, Kian with that one called Heather, Nicky's been with Georgina FOREVER and Bryan's seeing. who isn't Bryan seeing??..." "He isn't seeing you, but that could change." Angela was taking Shelleys panic as a joke. "And Mark's. Well Mark's." "Following in Steve Gately footsteps?" Angela continued giggling "Firstly Steve Gately's a dude and secondly no way is Mark gay, even if he was." "Shell, CHILL OUT! We're being waited for" Angela was already walking towards where Shane, Nicky and Kian were stood at the entrance. "Angela, Bryan wants a word, Shelley isn't it? Hi, we didn't talk much this morning did we?" Mark appeared from nowhere and now was walking Shelley in the direction of the others as Angela disappeared towards were Bryan's voice lingered." Shelley was dying to know what he wanted but she trusted Angela didn't she? And besides she was in a surreal situation. Seeing them like this was it Bryan she really wanted?

-Chapter 6-

"Anto! Hi! This is erm. Shelley, She's that you know. person, who does the things, That's why shes here cos she's doing that thing, y'know the one that she does. Ya know?" Shane's unconvincing attempt to explain the presence of this girl in the hotel to WestLife's tour manage was embarrassingly feeble. "Yes, Mr Antonio Bryne is it? Hello Im Shelley, Im the here on behalf of, erm. Teenybopper a new magazine dedicated to boybands, It doesn't look like you were informed of my interview with Westlife this afternoon". Shelley had even impressed herself with her quick thinking and as she looked around Westlife smirked and even Anto looked convinced until Angela and Bryan came from the direction of the bar each holding some kinda a multi coloured cocktail. "Shit!" Shelley hung her head "Anto, I meant to tell you that's Bryan's new girlfriend Angela. Sorry, Yeah that's what was in the paper, yeah. It was a bit of an impulse thing between them" With that Mark gave Shelley a kinda "Hows that for quick thinking look" and ran over the Bryan and Angela to confirm the "arrangements" Shelley sat there, Ok, They'd got passed the tour manage and the people at the front desk, but the whole bar thought Angela and Bryan were together and Shelley was starting the believe it by the way they were looking at each other. The afternoon continued and the more they all chatted the more Shelley was realising that Westlife were actually human. She didn't even feel intimidated by them and the feeling of an impending heart attack had eventually worn of. "And anyway, I said to him, maybe if you'd started the engine!!!!!" The laughter dwindled; it was Bryan fifteenth cheesey joke. They'd mean been there four hours. Four hours! In the hotel with Westlife! It was 9 o'clock. "Right, We be off then," Shelley said feeling a real spoilsport. "Thought you were booking in" Kian and Nicky said in unison. "Yeah, Angela YOU said we were booking in didn't you" Shelley really started to feel the pressure. "Yeah. Oh God! Forgot my credit cards. Shit!" Angela fluttered her eyelashes that was her way of telling the lads she never intended to book in the hotel and had no money. "Gotta go for a make up check" Angela continued as she grabbed Shelleys arm "Us girls go in groups" "Haahaa! What a night eh Shells?" "Oh, Angela shut up! Every time I ever mentioned Westlife you always had a sarcastic remark. You always told me how pathetic I was. You always pointed out their bad features and now look at ya. Practically throwing yourself at them, at Bryan, You know he's got a girlfriend just calm down. "Ah, but now I know them, And I like them. Haahaaa We can stay here if we like y'know." Angela giggled as she fixed her immaculate lipstick. "Ang, seriously, we've got no money, were only 16 and I really do think you've had enuff to drink, what the hells in that shit ya drinking?" Shelley started to shake. Maybe they were in further than they could handle. "Haahaa, firstly, We don't need money, Bryan said he'd get you a room. I'll drink as much as I like and lastly what they don't know don't hurt him, erm. them." Angela was by this time sat in the sink combing her hair. "Bryan would get ME a room? What bout y-. ANGELA, Christ! With that Shelley walked out of the loo's and back thru' the bar. She couldn't handle Angela in that state. She told to lads that she had to go home and baby sit and thanked them for the great night.

-Chapter 7-

Shelley sat on the wall outside the hotel. There were about thirty girls outside who swamped her in questions. "How do you know Westlife?" "Are you going out with any of them" "Whos the girl still in there" "WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING KISSING BRYAN!!" Shelley heard voices all around her but she didn't even have to turn and look to believe it. All the girls ran towards the window closes to the bar to get a closer look of the girl, who Bryan was smothering. Shelley supposed they all thought that she was the girl from the newspaper. Shelley walked in the opposite direction, anywhere to try and find a taxi. Anywhere that wasn't near Westlife. Just then she heard her name being called from behind her. "Shelley, quickly, come here" She stopped slowly and turned even slower. She knew those accents. "What is it?" She felt guilty for taking her aggression out on them even though it was Angela's fault. Her stupid big gob, her stupid accent, her stupid flirting. everything. Now Shelley saw that Nicky and Mark were beckoning her from a side door of the hotel. "God, were so sorry, Looks like things have got out of hand. Have you and Ang fallen out over this? Bryan's way out of his league. I didn't want to tell you but Bryan's been seeing someone for six months. She's called Lynda. She works in the business, Bry thinx he can have it all but your friend's gonna get hurt." Mark really did look apologetic. "Im going to bloody kill him! I am going to kill him. BASTARD! Right, no one does that to my mate, little slut that she might be, no one does that to her." Shelley paced with tears in her eyes. "Look, don't fly off about it. We'll have a word with him." Nicky tried to calm the situation but Shelley was already on the mobile" "I'll rip his bloody head off. Oh Ang, Its me you gotta get outta there. NOW!" "Bry wants you for one thing, No! Seriously Ang, It's for your own good. ANGELA!" "You'll thank me. Please don't do anything stupid." "Christ Angela, how could you say im jealous? I don't wanna hurt you but its better me than him." "Has he told you about Caroline.?" " Oh im sure he did say that." "oh BULLSHIT!" " God almighty Angela! I don't need friends like you if you wont listen to me when im write." "Don't hang up.. Ang? Angela??" Nicky and Mark looked at each other as they heard the one side of the conversation, they realised Shelley was fighting a losing battle. Shelley sat on the cold floor and cried. Cried at the fact she'd been so naïve, Cried because she had been so obsessed with a man who could do this to her best mate. Cried because Angela believed a lad she'd known a few hours over her. She cried because everything about her life that she thought was secure wasn't anymore and it had all changed in a matter of hours. "Right im going home now. Please, I've tried my hardest. Please make sure he doesn't hurt her too much. Don't try to talk to her, she won't hear you. Thank you so much. You've been great. I really do appreciate it." With that she gave Mark and Nicky a huge hug as she walked towards a waiting taxi. "Shelley, Here's my mobile number. Give me a ring tomorrow if you can't ring Angela. I'll do what I can for Angela. She should be thankful to have a friend like you" "Thanx a lot Mark" Shelley climb into the car still clutching the piece of paper with Mark's number on. Where did this leave her? She couldn't exactly go back to London to follow Westlife next week, But she wasn't exactly friends with them, well even if she was it she wouldn't be for much longer whatever the outcome of Bryan and Angela was.

-Chapter 8-

The next day came and she never rang Angela to see what happened or to see whether she did stay the night or whether she went home, or if Mark and Nicky talked sense into her. Shelley never rang Mark either. In the taxi that night she'd realised that it takes something like that to happen to put your priorities in order. She realised that Angela was far more important to her than Bryan was, and it was Angela's outspoken flirty and outrageous personality than had made them friends. Shelley also realised that she wouldn't have been happy even if she'd been the one that Bryan wanted. But she was just too stubborn and jealous to admit it to Angela. Shelley and Bryan were just too different. The more she thought about it the more she admitted to herself that it was Mark who she had wanted. She told herself that even if anything had happened between her and Mark it wouldn't have worked. The popstar and fan scenario could never work. For two weeks after that Angela wasn't in school. Shelley didn't hear from her. Angela didn't contact her. Shelley was too embarrassed to ring, she knew she'd been selfish. Infact, The only time Angela was really in school was for her G.C.S.E's and she never spoke to Shelley then. Infact they never really spoke again. Not to say Shelley never saw Angela again. She saw her plenty. In the newspapers, in Magazines. Just two months after that one night Bryan was telling the world about how much he was in love with this mystery girl who had appeared from nowhere. The story of the blagging herself into the bar was well known by now. But Shelley was never mentioned. Angela became somewhat of a celebrity herself. Not a day went by that Shelley didn't regret what she did and how she'd misjudged Bryan. He'd had been with Lynda up until then but had finished with her the day after he'd met Angela, because he'd felt guilty about kissing Angela behind her back. And from what Shelley could understand the reason Bryan had got Angela a room was cos she wasn't in a fit state to go home. Shelley had wrongly stereotyped Bryan to a sex obsessed egotistical idiot and had lost her best friend because of it.

-Chapter 9-

Exactly one year to the day that they met Bryan and Angela got engaged. Nicky and Georgina had got married three months before. This sent Westlife into a legal battle with RoLo management. Ronan Keating resigned from the contact with Louis. His statement said "Mr Keating regrets that he has withdrawn from management of Westlife due to profession differences with Mr Walsh. He wishes Nicky and Georgina and Bryan and Angela all the best for the future." Westlife won the legal battle and parted company with Louis Walsh. They remained friends with Ronan. Kian and Heather had a child named Faye but split up six months later due to stress. Westlife continued to dominate the world. Their first six singles went to No 1 in the UK and Ireland and after that there next seven singles all went into the top ten. Seven years, eleven singles, three albums and five world tours after Westlife formed Shane Filan issued a statement apologising to the fans and wishing to inform them that he was leaving the band to pursue a solo career. Westlife never realised another single or toured again. They split two months after Shane left claiming they were all still friends. Shelley went on to go to University but left midway thru the course. She became a hairdresser in Essex and married a man named Michael they had two children before he left her for another women. Shelley continued her life without Angela and It was hard but she did it. She never met Westlife again, She walked past Mark in Dublin once but by that time she had her own life and the memories of that night were too painful. They both smiled but the looks exchanged between them said that they had nothing to discuss. "Nana that wasn't a very happy ending!" Rebecca complained "I don't suppose it was." "But Nan, That's not a very good bedtime story! Why didn't they life happily ever after Nan?" Rebecca looked up at me with disappointment. . "Erm. Because not everyone lives happily ever after, Rebecca. Anyway, Angela got a happy ending" I sat there starting to regret telling her the story. "I bet she didn't I bet she missed Shelley. Nan. Will you tell me the story again but this time at the end Angela and Shelley are friends and Shelley and Mark get married? Ok?" Rebecca looked on at me eagerly. I just looked back at her young face. "Oh, Becca. She can't change the story for you. I love a tragic ending. Im doing Shakespeare at school Nan. Where did you hear that story?" Rebecca's older sister Amy interrupted. I sat there I looked at them both. "Mum, Its 11 o' clock. I'll tuck the girls in and you go down stairs and put the kettle on.Look, Any, Rebecca. Please go to sleep we've got a long day tomorrow. Its important to your Nana were there." Rebecca and Amys mum came in the room behind me. "But Mum I don't want to go I didn't even know this women. I don't even know her name!" Amy looked bored and Rebecca nodded. "Look! It was one of your Nan's oldest friends and it means a lot to her that were there." Amy sighed at her mother. "Look Amy! I don't know this person but we should you and pay our respects. For Nan's sake. Please girls." With that Hannah left her to daughters in the room and when down stairs when I was waiting.

-Chapter 10-

The following morning Hannah entered the room wearing a long black jacket. She looked so much like me and not abit like her father. "Not over dressed im I mum? So, do you mind me asking whos funeral it is where going to? I read about it in the paper but no names where mentioned. Such awful circumstances, the car they were in was a right off." "No one just an old friend how I want to say good bye to" I sighed. Hannah looked away. She knew I was upset. We arrived at the funeral 10 minutes early. The service began. I hated funerals. Some priest who'd never met these people in his life before was talking about them like he was close to them. He started. "God choose this time for reasons unknown to take his Children, Angela and Bryan. From the earth." Amy went pale and sat down. "These two people had brought so much happiness to each other and the people around them, Most of you will know of the joy Bryan gave to thousands across the world during his time in the band" Amy put her hand to her mouth and looked at me. I didn't look back. I was determined not to cry. "Oh god, Nan. I never thought." Amy whispered to me but couldn't finish the sentence. "Nan, Is Shelley real too? Has Shelley come to the funeral?" Amy started again. I said nothing. It was a quiet service. In a small church in London. Finally the priest stopped talking. Everyone wondered round meaninglessly. Amy kept tight hold of my hand. She was thirteen but was far from stupid. "I never thought the story was true. I never even knew there was a band called Westlife." Amy was in disbelief. I smiled falsely. From somewhere in the distance behind me a heard a voice in the silence. "Shelley?" Amy turned quickly to get a glimpse of the girl who had felt all that pain in her Nan's story. "Shelley." "You? Shelley??, but your names Lei" Amy gasped looking at me. "Yeah, Lei is short for Shelley" I whispered as I wiped a tear from her cheek "Mark." I replied as me and Mark looked at each other I couldn't find any words to say to him. We hadn't spoke for thirty-five years. I was so full of emotion I couldn't even cry. "God. Mark. I never even said good bye to her." I collapsed into Marks arms in tears. Amy stood back as tears streamed down her face. "I've got so many regrets Shelley. The lads and me were like brothers. But we pushed ourselves too far. We blew it. Shane never left to have a solo career. Shane never had a solo career. Westlife fell apart after we lost Louis. Everything fell apart." Everything was coming out. Westlife had been the biggest band in the world and now at Bryan and Angela McFadden's funeral Mark was the only band member who could talk about it. Kian, Shane and Nicky all stood at the back avoiding eye contact with anyone. We all felt the same. For one reason or another we'd all let a friend down over something that seemed irrelevant now. "None of Westlife have really spoken since you split up. I never really spoke to Angela since that night at the hotel. Mark. I know how you feel about not clearing the air with Bryan. Please don't let it happen with Kian, Nicky and Bryan. Please" With that Mark slowly walked away from me and towards the back of the church. They were four old men at a funeral. No one had ever recognised them. As I looked on at them I saw the tears flow between them. I walked towards the two coffins. "Angela, Bryan. Rest in Peace. No one will misjudge you in heaven. No one will push you or doubt you. Please know I love you with all might heart and I regretted what I did everyday" I Stood back I cried quietly to myself. The next time I saw Mark, Kian, Shane and Nicky they were performing on Children in need. As Westlife.
