Mission: Impossible 2
Running Time: 127 min
Rated: PG-13
Genre: Action
Starring: Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Thndie Newton as Nyah Hall, Dougray Scott as Sean Ambrose, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell

Right away, you'll notice Mission Impossible 2 is less confusing than the first Mission Impossible. Yep, this movie goes for the action and never lets up.

The action sequences are downright amazing. A motorcycle chase, a break-in to a building (through the roof, of course). And all the cool M:I gadgets.

Mission Impossible 2 is definitely slicker than the original as well. That is because of the presence of director John Woo (best known for Face/Off). He uses all of his litle tricks in M:I 2: the slow motion action scenes, great gun battles, and doves (I don't know, it's just his thing).

The cast was great as well. Tom Cruise was extra cool as the super spy Ethan Hunt. Ving Rhames is the only returnee from the first Mission, and he is just as good in this one as he was in the original. Thandie Newton as a thief who was involved with the villain was also good. I was most surprised by Dougray Scott. It's hard imagining a guy who was the Prince in Ever After could be a villain. But he actually pulled it off. But I still wouldn't have wanted him to play Wolverine in the X-Men movie. And Anthony Hopkins is also good in his brief appearance as the leader of the IMF.

Am I forgetting something? Oh right, the plot. Don't worry about the plot. If you like good acton movies, and a lot of spy gadgets, check out M:I 2. And don't worry, you'll be able to follow the plot a lot easier this time around.
