Narrator: Every man has a darkness. Something hidden deep inside that he hides. Even the greatest king and the lowest peasent have the dark parts of their inner self. It can't be escaped, only surpressed. Some can surpress it all their lives and never deal with it. Others fall into the darkness and have trouble crawling out. Until recently Shane had no problems. He was in a great position at the top of the CWF. He has a title shot only a few days away. He's advanced to the semi-finals in the DWM Cup. All was well, that was, until Travis Smith decided to give Shane a push. In many ways it's amusing that as much as Brandon pushed to bring the anger and madness out of Shane he was never able to. Everything he tried just gave Shane a stronger base to build himself on. Travis on the other hand took a different approach. He didn't attack Shane, he attacked his family. Something Brandon never did. Travis's motives have brought that rage out in Shane. It's what Brandon wanted, but what Travis got. Shane is seen on the streets of Toronto. He's dressed the same as before. The Indians jersey and hat, jeans and Doc Martin boots. It may be the day following his night time baseball session, but he hasn't changed. In some respects hitting a few balls has calmed him, but is hasn't brought him out of the blind anger that Travis is driving up in him. Still there is no word from the RCMP about his family's situation. Shane walks the street alone. He looks at the people around him, but doesn't see them. He pushes past them, but doesn't feel them. Only two things are running through his head. Travis Smith and Brandon Sinclair. He slowly turns over in his mind thoughts of exacting his anger on them. Ahead of him, on the sidewalk, stands a white sandwhich board. Scribbled on the sandwhich board, in red letters, are the words "Blood Donor Clinic. Here Today from 8am - 5pm". At the end of the small advertisement is the symbol of the Red Cross. Shane walks up to the board. He stares at if for a moment. Then enters the building where blood donor clinic is. As he steps in the doorway a woman behind a table immediately greets him. Woman: Hello sir. Are you here to donate some blood? Shane shakes his head, no. Woman: Oh well why are you here then? Shane walks past her without answering. Woman: Wait a minute! Wait, you can't go in there. Shane steps into the room where the clinic is set up. None of the nurses or partons pay any attention to him, they just think he's someone else who's come to donate. Shane stops for a second to look over the room. On one side are the beds where the people are laying who are donating. Nurses are busy talking to people, getting them ready to donate, or helping them to the recovery area after they donate. On the other side of the room is the screening area where potential donors are screened before they can donate. There is a small area in between the two sections where the nurses keep the blood they've collected from from the donors. Shane waits until he's sure the nurses are distracted before he makes his move. He walks across the room and into the area where the donor's blood is kept. He reaches into a cooler marked O- and pulls out three, one pint, bags of blood. He then turns and walks out of the area, and the room, as if this was something he did everyday. As he leaves the room he's pauses, only for a second, to grab a free cookie and a juice box. Narrator: Shane likes having fun. He spends a large ammount of time making fun or teasing his opponents. As some would say, it's all part of the Shane Jackson experience. To most people who know Shane they would say that he has some sort of elaborate joke that he's building to by stealing this blood. I'm telling you there is no joke. He's not going to go and hang it on a cut-out of Brandon and have it proclaim "Sunday night you can have a free pint on me.". He's isn't planning on throwing it in Brandon's locker for him to find, just before the match. On the other hand, he has no plans for it and Travis Smith either. Shane walks out of the building carrying the three pints of blood in one arm. He pays no attention to the people staring at him. Even in Toronto you rarely see someone walking around carrying three bags of blood. It's just not normal. Shane continues down the street with little concern. With his free hand Shane reaches into the pocket of his jeans and pulls out switch blade. Carefully he slides the blade of the knife across one of the bags, opening it up. He puts the, slightly bloody, knife back in his pocket. As he moves down the street blood from the opened bag is spilling onto Shane's arm, his pants and the sidewalk. For a moment, Shane stops walking. He looks down at the opened bag of blood. Oddly enough Shane's, usually lively, face is expressionless. He begins pouring the blood from the bag into his free hand. After several seconds Shane drops the empty bag onto the sidewalk. He begins rubbing his hands together, as if the blood was soap. He wipes it on his face and on his clothes. His white Indians jersey and jeans are covered in blood stains. Narrator: Like I said there was a reason. Shane's walk on his darker side won't last forever, eventually he'll come out of it. Chances are it's going to be shortly following the PPV. Until then it's unsure where things are going to lead for Shane. Shane stands on the sidewalk. He still holds two bags of O- blood in one arm. His clothes are covered in blood, as if he were a murder victim. His hands and arms drip with the fluid. A smile creeps across Shane's face. It's not the one he gives when he's having fun. This one seems darker, if that's at all possible for a smile.
