A brisk winter afternoon in Denver, Colorado. A flock of people, dressed in their winter gear, are gathered around a large outdoor stage. A banner above the stage reads "WinterFest". It's an annual event that starts boxingday and ends on New Year's Day. The event features many outdoor activities and entertainment.

Throught the morning various local and international bands have been up on stage performing. Currently a Doors tribute band, called In Morrison's Image, is finishing up their set. As they start to close out the last song, appropriately being The End, there is a bit of a commotion off stage. Nothing oveblown enough to interrupt the band's playing, but still noticeable.

In Morrison's Image hits the last few chords of The End. They set down their instruments, thank the crowd and dissappear off stage. A split-second after they leave the stage the MC comes on. He's the host of a very popular radio show. Most people know him as "John Dog" or "JD".

JD: All right, a big thank you to In Morrison's Image for some great Doors tunes.

The crowd gives a good round of applause for the band.

JD: Oh you people are sweet. IMI you hear that? They love ya.

Several people start whistling, as the appluse continues.

JD: Ok, calm down, calm down. I've got a special treat for all you people out there. You know the CWF is in town for their Finale Pay Per View, right? Well, we've got a one of their #1 guys here with us. Ladies, Gentlemen, Rock Fans and Wrestling Fanatics, I am PROUD to present to you....

JD lets his words hang for a moment, he can feel the anticipation building.

JD: ICWA Champion, the "Natural Wonder" Shane Jackson.

The crowd explodes into cheers as Shane steps out to his name. He's got on his Blue Jacket's winter coat, red cargo chords and Doc Martin boots, a pair of CK sunglasses cover his eyes. The ICWA belt can be seen strapped around his waist through the unzipped coat. He shakes JD's hands then takes the mic from him.

Shane: 2 times the Champion and 2 times the charm.

The line works another pop out of the crowd.

Shane: You all know why I'm here, for The Finale. Without a doubt the BIGGEST PPV of the year. Your going to get the opportunity to see some amazing matches and some unthought of upsets. You may even see a new World Champion crowned.

A small cheer runs throug the crowd, but quickly quiets down.

Shane: I'm going to take a second here to address Mike Manson, before I get to what my plans, for The Finale, are. Mike, it seems to have slipped you mind that I held this title...

Shane points to the ICWA Title around his waist.

Shane:...MY title once before. When the ICWA was still alive and well. This title represents greatness, Mike. The greatness that was Shane Jackson in the ICWA, and now the greatness that Shane Jackson IS in the CWF. It's MY title Mike, MINE. If you believe a steel cage is going to swing the odds in your favor then you keep right on telling yourself that. If you think three opponents is going to turn the odds against me then continue repeatin' that. I'll put this title, of mine, on the line in your steel cage, but don't count on you being the one that's going to flash the gold to YOUR fans at the end of the night.

Shane pulls the mic away from his mouth signalling that he has finished his piece on Mike. He paces back and forth across the stage a couple of times before he's ready to address the crowd again.

Shane: I sat down last night and took a long look at the names on my team, then I took a look at the names on all the other teams. I looked at the first match-ups, and I thought about what the Final match-up could be. I broke my team down to each of it's members and came to a conclusion on each of them.

Travis Smith a man I know little about. Last I heard he was a friend of "Mrs.WTN" John Miller. I even understand that they were once a tag team. Wether they were any good or not, I can only guess, but seeing as how I've never heard about their team I think I know what my guess would be. The way I see it, if they had made it anywhere as a team it must have been all Smith with Miller taggin' along behind. Anyone that can carry Miller has to have at least a little talent.

Smack Daddy now I know I've heard of this guy.

The crowd pops at the mention of Smack's name.

I owe him a thank-you for bringing me to the CWF. I know this guy can hold his own in the ring so there is no problem when it comes to fighting for the team. When it comes down to Wargames, and when I'm staring across the ring at Smack, I'll nod once to say thanks then my debt is clear and I'll show remorse in going fist to fist with him.

Sebastian another one I know can pull his own for the team. He may be a little rusty, but after oiling himself up on Miller & co. he should be good. I see him and Smack spending all their time on each other during the Games. Wether he topples Smack or not I could care less 'cause I see many others focusing their attention on this guy, before me.

Finally oneALPHA13. When I look at him I see myself. He's someone I can realte to. Questions I had about his abilities are answered by the fact that he holds gold. When it comes down to the War we may end up testing each other. In the end the only way I see him being eliminated is because of his lack of experience in the CWF.

Shane pauses for a minute to collect his thoughts and finish up.

Shane: As for me, the "Natural Wonder", I know where I stand on the team. I've got MY gold around my waist, but I wouldn't mind adding to the collection. On Sunday night, Denver, you just may hear the words

"Shane Jackson, New CWF Champion"

The crowd erupts with excitement at the thought of Shane being crowned CWF Champion.

Shane: To all my opponents on Sunday remember this,

The light at the end of the tunnel may just be the headlights of the Cleveland Express bearing down on you.

JD walks back out on stage. Shane hands the mic over to him. Before he heads off stage Shane looks out over the sea of people. With one hand he points to the Title around his waist, with the other he unstraps it and raises it above his head. The whole time he has his one hand still pointing at it. As the belt rises, by Shane's hand, in the air the crowd starts applauding and cheering. Shane lowers the belt and walks off stage with a smile on his face.
