Metal wheels on a tile floor. After a second the door creaks open and Shen Jackson steps through to the gym, next to him wheels an IV stand.. His body is severely flawed. His face wears the marks of a war, his body shows signs of violence. 30 stitches in his side, strained muscles, 2nd degree burns, scars.

Shane stands in the dim light of the gym, where Sonic trained him. Much of the gym looks the same, now, as it did on the first day that he set foot in it. It looks the same but something feels different, something's missing.

Shane turns toward the disheveled office where he first met Sonic. As Shane hobbles over to the office he pulls his IV stand with him. Despite Glory haven taken place two days ago Shane's still dressed in his wrestling gear, suggesting that he's just left the hospital.

He enters the dark office. Inside the crumbling room is a large, wooden, desk. Two bottles stand, unopened, on the desk.

As Shane approaches the desk it becomes clear what the two bottles are. Two 40's of Jack Daniels.

On the desk in front of the bottles is a letter, from Sonic.

Shane;

You brought down Superman.

Is the world yours?

I saw your match the other night. Drew should have won, you know deep down it's true.

Regardless of what you know the truth IS the truth of REALITY is the you're now the PRO Champion.

You're the Christian being fed to the wolves.

Understand that.

I want you to take the first bottle of Jack Daniels, drink half of it now, then cap it and put the last half away.

Keep it until you lose the title.

Give the second bottle to Drew with this message from me:

"Thanks for one last memory"

Don't mail it to him, hand it to him in person.

Always respect your opponent.

No matter how the match ends, no matter who wins or loses, in the end it's all about respect.

Shane, I believe I've made you a better performer than you were before you came to me.

There's more I want to teach you, but I can't, some lessons you need to learn on your own.

Please keep a watch for me. It's nice to believe there's one person on this earth that cares I still exist.

-Sonic

Shane stands stone still over the desk for a few minutes after finishing the letter. After a moment he picks up the first bottle of Jack Dnaiels and unscrews the cap. He tips the bottle to his lips and marvels at it's warmth as the liquid slides down his throat. A song begins playing in Shane's mind, a song that's only for him to hear.

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
I’m just out to find
The better part of me

I’m more than a bird...i’m more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train
It’s not easy to be me

Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I’ll never see

It may sound absurd...but don’t be naive
Even heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed...but won’t you concede
Even heroes have the right to dream
It’s not easy to be me

Up, up and away...away from me
It’s all right...you can all sleep sound tonight
I’m not crazy...or anything...

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
Men weren’t meant to ride
With clouds between their knees

I’m only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me
Inside of me
Inside me
Yeah, inside me
Inside of me

I’m only a man
In a funny red sheet
I’m only a man
Looking for a dream

I’m only a man
In a funny red sheet
And it’s not easy, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm...

Its not easy to be me

Everything fades to black as Shane lowers the bottle from his lips.
