What is the most important thing in your life?

Is it your Family?

Your Girlfriend?

Your Car?

or is it something else, something that holds a deeper meaning to you.

In the world of Shane Jackson his family has it's spot, they hold a prominent place in his heart. They've always been there for him, and he's proud of that. They were there for him when Shane's sister, Melissa, was manipulated by Travis Smith. His parents were a piller of strenght during that time. He speaks to them at least twice a week. No matter where he is in the country, or where he's touring with the CWF he always makes the time to call them. They're an important part of his life, but they aren't the most important piece of Shane's existence.

There's a room in Shane Jackson's house that few people see. Only the most trusted people in his life have ever seen it's interior. In simple terms it's a trophy room, a room filled with memoribelia from the life of the "Natural Wonder". There's pictures of him with celebrities, ring attire from momumental matches in his career, books that make mention of him and even some action figures bearing his name. Of the entire contents of this room there is one thing that Shane hold above all else. It's not a toy, or a piece of clothing or a picture, it's a title. A title from a place that no longer exists. The ICWA.

Shane stands in the middle of his trophy room, in one hand he holds a mug of steaming hot chocolate. All his attention is focused on the top of a dark, mahogany coffee table. On the coffee table sits a glass case, inside the case is a small stand draped in dark velvet. Mounted on the stand is the ICWA World Title. It's golden face shines with the legacy it holds.

Shane: In the life of Paul Sterling it's all about money. The more you make the bigger you are. The bigger you are the more you make. It's a circle that seems to go forever upward. He believes that it can go on forever, that he can keep getting bigger and command more money. One day he may realise that it'll end, that his status and cash will hit a brick wall, he'll be finished.

He lifts the mug to his lips and takes a long drink before continues.

Shane: He's already got Klash brainwashed to his way of life, now he's working on Thornhill. The seeds of destruction have already been planted around Matt, I'd like to see if he accepts them, or steps over them and walks away. The CWF sees a bright future for Thornhill, that's why Sterling was quick to snatch him up. If Thornhill can rise to fame then Sterling's going to use that ticket to raise his own stock. I've seen the look in Sterling's eyes.....anything to get ahead.

Shane takes another long drink of his hot chocolate. As he lowers the mug his eyes come back to rest on the case containing the ICWA World Title. Shane crosses the distance of the room to the coffee table where the title sits in it's case. He places his hot chocolate off to the side of the table.

Shane: I have a feeling that Sterling won't let there be any peace between us. He wants the Pro Title, he needs it. The funny thing is that at first, when I won the Pro Title, I didn't feel I deserved it. In my mind it should have still been around Drew's waist. I was ready to lay down and let Rudiger walk away with an easy victory and a title belt. It's strange how a simple act of kindness can change a person's whole point of view. When I handed Drew his name plate off the Pro Title my perspective changed. I had a CWF Belt and it was around my waist for a reason, I had earned it. I earned it with blood, sweat and scar tissue. It's mine and anyone who wants it will have to play through the pain to be able to latch it around their waist.

Shane lifts that top to the glass case. He reaches in and carefully removes the ICWA World Title from it's holdings. He cups it in both hands, as if it's the most precious thing on earth, and slowly raises it from it's alter.

Shane: Something's being rekindled in me, something I thought was gone.

As Shane raises the ICWA Title to his face a glint suddenly appears in his eyes. A fire that once burned in Shane's soul, a fierce flame that has pushed the "Natural Wonder" beyond his limits, in the past, has been stoked.

Shane: Tomorrow it starts Sterling. Epic won't be the end it'll be the 1st coming of my reign and the first true defense as I carry the Pro Title to a place beyond that of the World Title.

Shane stares at his reflection in the face ICWA World Title. His passion was back and only the veterans know what that means.
