The CWF Glory Logo appears on the screen then flashing up are the words
"Hardcore Warfare: The Aftermath." The scene then cuts to a studio where Roger
Monroe and Grant Henley are sitting.
Monroe: Welcome CWF fans to a special edition of CWF Glory. Now most of the guys
are still feeling the effects of Hardcore Warfare so we decided to just sit down
and talk about one of the greatest pay per views in CWF history.
Henley: We will also look at next weeks Glory, which on paper looks to be far
more brutal than the Hardcore Warfare ppv ever could be.
Monroe: But lets start with Hardcore Warfare and the DWM Cup. 8 men went in and
only 4 moved on. Those 4 were King Krash, Kevin Williams, Matt Thornhill, and
Gabriel Steele. Grant who do you like out of those four?
Henley: To be honest I believe Gabe will take it all the way. He has a lot of
tough competition here but I think Gabe is just waiting to break through to the
main event.
Monroe: I agree about Gabe but I really feel Kevin Williams is the next big star
here in the CWF. Give it a few months and I guarntee he will be wearing CWF
Gold.
Henley: This is a really tough decision because all four men are excellent
wrestlers so any four could win really. Picking a winner is all a matter of
personal preference.
Monroe: Agreed. Also coming out of the DWM Cup was Flabulas's lost to King Krash.
Krash moved on while Flab is continuing his losing streak. After the match Drew
Carrig, the ever-loving president that he is, came out and called Flabulas a
fat...well....a fat fuck.
Henley: HEY!!! You can't say that on cable television.
Monroe: I know but I don't know how else to put it. Anyways Drew demanded that
Flab lose some weight to earn a PRO Title shot or quit. So standing by from his
home is Flabulas.
Flabulas is sitting in his easy chair at his home. Gad and Laura flank him, Gad
has Katelyn on his lap. Flabulas looks into the camera.
Flabulas - Obviously I'm not at Glory. At the Pay-Per-View, Drew Carrig gave me
an ultimatum, loose weight or get fired. Oh, he lessened the sting with a PRO
title shot, but that isn't good enough. It wouldn't have been good enough for
him to offer me the World title outright, there is nothing Drew can offer me
that would give me incentive to change my lifestyle. So Carrig, you can take
your PRO title shot and shove it, because I quit. I've had enough of the
discrimination I've had to endure from you and others.
Gad gets up, hands Katelyn to Flabulas and hurries behind the camera. He turns
it off
Monroe: Wow! It looks like Flabulas just told Drew to screw himself.
Henley: Why would anyone quit the job of a lifetime? All Drew wanted was a few
*hundred* pounds.
Monroe: Yea a few hundred. Now next week Flabulas was suppose to face Jacob Star
in a submission match so let's head to Star for reaction to these comments.
As soon as the screen goes blank after Flabulas' apparent retirement
statement, another video begins to play. This time sitting in front of the
camera is the "Working Class Hero", Jacob Star. He's dressed in street clothes,
and looks none too pleased.
Jacob Star: What we just witnessed is a travesty of justice, against a man
who has done nothing but dedicate his life to this company for the past year.
Flabulas called me on the phone after Hardcore Warfare, and told me of his
decision to quit rather than face the unfair restrictions placed on him by our
President, Drew Carrig. He did so because he wanted to show him the same respect
he felt I showed him when I chose him to by my opponent after winning the Young
Lion's Challenge at the Pay Per View. I sit before you now because if I let
Flabulas leave under these circumstances without trying to right this wrong, I
couldn't live with myself. Mr. Carrig, in the past certain restrictions have
been put on athletes the size of Flabulas for various reasons, but two of the
main reasons have been the wrestler's health, or the wrestler's in-ring
performance. Those two things I can guarantee you Flabulas does not have a
problem with. For a man of his size, he is in incredible health, and he has also
been one of the most consistent wrestlers you have on the roster. He doesn't
deserve this kind of treatment, and you know it. I may not be a big name in the
CWF, hell, I'm barely even a little name, but I will not stand for it. I offer
you two different solutions for chosing, and if you have any business sense in
you, you will choose one of them. First, if you're that hell bent on putting
rediculous and assinign stipulations on people, why not put it on a person who
doesn't really matter in the scheme of things? You don't lose a big name in the
company, and you get to get your jollies by being the pupper master all the
same. I'm willing to take Flabulas' place with any stipulation you want. Make me
wrestle five times a night, tell me I have to lose every match I'm in, whatever
the hell it is you want, but don't show your ignorance by directing such
stipulations at a man who has done nothing to you, except give you his best
every time you decide to book him. Option two...give Flabulas the opportunity to
earn his freedom from this stipulation. Next week, him and I were scheduled to
go one on one in a submission match. I say if he wins that match, you lift the
stipulation, and let Flabulas remain with the company, where he belongs, and
truly wants to be..but only as he is now, not what YOU think he should be. And
if he loses, then he resigns, but at least with the dignity of knowing he gave
the fans one last match, and he showed the world that he is a man to be proud
of. Those are the options I'm giving to you...think it over.
Monroe: Wow more strong statements. Star is calling Flabulas out, lets see what
happens.
Henley: Flabulas never backed down from a challenge so I assume that the match
for next week is still on.
Monore: Good. Right now we want to introduce someone for you. The current,
reiging, and defending CWF PRO Champion...DREW CARRIG.
Drew steps onto the set, the PRO Title draped over his shoulder. Monore and Henley both get up to shake his hand but he brushes them off. The two announcers sit down, both looking a little forlorn. Drew takes a seat next to Henley.
Monroe: So what are your thoughts on....
Drew cut's Monroe off before he can finish his question.
Drew: I've already thought your choices over Mr. Star. Seeing as how I'm not a totally close minded person I'll take you up on choice number two. If Flabulus can make you submit then I'll lift the stipulation....but I'm going to make sure you aren't just going to throw that match for his sake. I will be at ringside watching the match and if I feel that at any point you aren't giving 100% then I will end the match and Flabulus will be gone, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that his firing is on your head.
Monroe: Wow, quick choice there Drew. There a reason why you dedided on.....
Again Drew cuts Monroe off.
Drew: If you're going to sit here and analyze everything I say it's going to be an extremely long show.
Henley quickly changes topics to avoid anymore problems.
Henley: I have a major announcement to make. Seeing as how my predictions at Hardcore Warfare were so popular I am going to start running odds on all matches for Glory, Epic and the subsequent Pay Per Views. My first set of odds will be posted in the CWF locker room this weekend.
Monroe: Sounds interesting. Ummmmm, moving on. I think we've covered all the DWM recap and look foreward so next let's take a look at the tag team division.
Drew: What division? We've got 3 teams.
Monroe: Well......we do have new tag team champions. The Militia look like a strong team who could hold onto the titles for quite some time.
Drew: That's because their only competition is a couple of drunk British soccer delinquents and a team of rookies. Militia will hold onto the titles until they die of old age.
Henley: Well that pretty much shoots down any discussion of past, present and future tag matches. So lets move onto the Brett Healey, Javiere Moreno match.
Monore: Well the way I see it Smack was only covering for Moreno because Javiere didn't want to have to face my main man Brett Healey.
Henley: You heard Smack, he was having his appendix removed.
Drew cuts in before the discussion goes any further.
Drew: I don't care if he way lying or not. Javiere faces Healey next Wednesday, if he no shows again then he's going to be punished. If he happens to win and moves on to face me.....then he will have won punishment at my hands.
Henley: Ok. Sounds good.
Monroe: What haven't we covered so far? There's the Hardcore Match, the Abandon Building Match and the World Title Match.
Henley: Don't forget the Young Lions Match.
Monroe: I liked the young lions match. Four talented youngsters showed some really ability out there. With Jacob Star taking the win and the....
Drew: I think this was established with the whole Flabulus stipulation thing, skip it.
Monroe seems really caught off guard and flustered. Again Henley tries to get onto a new topic.
Henley: Let's talk about the Hardcore Match between TJ Raven and Paul Sterling. It was a brutal affair which in the end saw Sterling fall and TJ Raven become the new Hardcore Champion.
Monroe: It was one of the bloodiest matches in recent CWF History. One of the few that didn't involve President Drew Carrig here.
Drew: It was a decent match, even if I wasn't involved. Sterling and Raven both showed some balls out there.
Henley: And what about Steele injecting himself into the cage after Raven had already won the Hardcore Title. He's really setting himself up for a huge fight with Raven after that incident.
Drew: As you notice I made sure these two would be able to sort out their differences. It's called a Caribbean Death Match and I guarantee that both those guys are going to take pieces out of each other by the time it's over. Steele losing part of his ear is going to be minor compared to what is going to happen in that ring next Wednesday.
Monroe: Along with the match for the Hardcore Title well also be seeing Drew, here, in a House of Horrors Match against the "Natural Wonder" Shane Jackson.
Henley: After the violent match that we saw Shane and Phenix go through in the building I don't think that Shane has a hope of being 100% going into this match against Drew.
Just then a video begins playing on screen. The video is time stamped Monday, September 29. The day after Hardcore Warfare.
The living room of Shane Jackson's Cleveland home. Shane sits shirtless, in a worn brown recliner. His forearms and chest are heavily taped and bandaged. His face is adorned with numerous cuts and bruises, many of which have band-aids covering them. As Shane begins to lean forward in the recliner a winch of pain appears on his face.
Shane: Well I guess I should be thankful that my injuries weren't severe enough to warrant a prolonged stay in the hospital, unlike TJ Raven and Paul Sterling.I was treated and released inside 12 hours. I don't know if the same is true for Phenix. He just disappeared the second the match ended. Went off soul searching, looking for the peace inside himself, or something along those lines. Strikes me as odd that he would go through that whole match, all that fighting just to throw it away in the end.
Shane shifts in his recliner as another wave of pain becomes evident on his face.
Shane: I don't want to talk more about Phenix though, I've washed my hands of him. My focus right now is Drew. It never ceases to amaze me the lengths you go to, Drew, to gain the upper hand. Seconds after you found out Moreno wasn't going to be fighting you, you don't even hesitate to book a tremendously violent match between the two of us. You knew what I was going to go through in that abandon building. You knew what was going to be happening to my body inside that shell of forgotten existence. All to your advantage. I know I'm not going to be one hundred percent healed by next Wednesday and you knew that too. It was the perfect opportunity to exact the revenge on me you've been wanting to take. To make things that much sweeter for you it just happens to be a match you thought up, a style that you've built your life around. Hardcore Drew Carrig, Hardcore Jeckel. It's your life. I've never been a Hardcore fighter, but I know someone who is. That's why I've hired myself a personal trainer to get me ready to face you in the House of Horrors Match. You want to know who it is? Wondering who I've dug up to prepare me for you? Just wait. You'll find out in a few minutes.
The video cuts to black as we're returned to the studio with Monroe, Henley and Carrig.
Monore: Interesting. Who do you think he's found?
Drew: I'm the greatest Hardcore Champion the CWF has ever seen. There's nobody that can prepare Shane Jackson for me.
Henley: Well with that said lets skip on over to the World Title scene. Diablo has the night off next Glory but that doesn't mean that Amusa does. Amusa is, for the first time in his entire career, going to face his best friend and closest partner deZ.
Monroe: I have no idea what could have made deZ turn on Amusa like that.
Henley: Drew, why do you think that deZ destroyed Amusa's chance at winning the CWF Title?
Drew's no longer paying attention to what Henley and Monroe are bantering about. His eyes are focused on the studio door. Two people have just entered. The two men walk up to the stage. One of the men steps up onto the stage and into the lights of the set. It's "Natural Wonder" Shane Jackson.
Shane: Hello Henley, Monroe.......Drew. This will only take a moment, I just wanted to introduce my new trainer. This man agreed to take me under his wing and teach me everything he know about Hardcore Wrestling. He's not going to step into the ring, so you won't have to worry about losing the title of the Greatest Hardcore Fighter the CWF has ever seen, Drew. He's come back to train me exclusively. Drew and company I'd like to introduce to you.......SONIC!!!!
Drew's eyes grow wide as the the second man steps onto the stage and reveals that it truly is Sonic.
Henley: Sonic, the second most decorated Hardcore Champion in CWF History. The only person that has ever had a shot at challenging Drew for the most Hardcore Title reigns. Unbelivable. Astounding.....
Words quickly begin to fail Henley.
Shane: We've already begun training. You'll see my first training tapes this weekend. I hope you enjoy what you see Drew becasue, come Wednesday, I'll be on YOUR level Drew.
The begins fading to black as Drew and Shane Jackson stare each other down. Standing slightly behind Shane is Sonic, a smile is plastered on his face as if he knows what Drew is in for.
As the show fades out a graphic appears on screen. It's WrecX's hit list.
JB Shooter - WrecXified
TJ Raven
Paul Sterling
Drew Carrig
Shane Jackson
Javier Moreno
Darrin Chaos
Brett Healey
Gabriel Steele

Kevin Williams WrecXified
It stays on screen for several seconds, long enough for the names to soak into the audience's memory before it fades to the CWF Logo, and then to black.
