Our main PYO crop is strawberries. From 1981 until 1998, we sold by the quart or basket. In 1999, we began selling by weight. We felt, and many customers agreed during the season, that this was the fairest method for all as it avoided problems with the different levels of fullness between customer's containers. We will again be using this method this coming season. An electronic "legal for trade" and inspected scale is used to determine the NET weight of berries for each customer. You may bring any type of basket or container to pick in. We also have empty 1 qt. and 6 qt. baskets available to purchase at our cost price.

We aim to provide value for a top quality product but also believe we must remain competitive in the PYO market. For this season, our 28th and final one, our PYO price will remain unchanged at $1.20/lb.

We also try to keep a steady supply of our own fresh ready picked strawberries for purchase at our PYO sales trailer. Unfortunately, as supply is affected by the weather and picking conditions, we cannot take advance orders.

Since 2001, we have also had PYO raspberries available. However, following two winters where our plants experienced significant winter kill, we've decided to discontinue growing raspberries effective immediately.

Strawberries like these are regularly available for "Pick-Your-Own." This particular order was picked last year for the local hospital Women's Auxillary for their annual Strawberry Tea.
