     The OSA is constantly looking to forge new links with other organizations which will be of interest and further education to Canadian stepfamilies.   We will also link to individual sites pending a presentation and review by our Board of Directors.

Exchange of personal experiences by stepmothers.  Extremely short on any kind of step-parenting advice, however, the varied issues that these women have encountered and share may be helpful from an "I'm not alone in this", perspective.  Indeed, it's often comforting to know just that.

Begun by a former stepmother who tragically lost her stepson to a car accident.   Her site deals specifically with the challenges of parenting teenagers.  She also publishes a very good newsletter.  If you are step-parenting any teens, check this site out.

The only counselor facility that we are aware of in Canada that currently offers a Certificate of Counseling Stepfamilies course.  Most of the course is via correspondence.  Check it out.
