Recca

Recca is a descendent of the "Hokage Ninja Flame Masters." In other words, he has the ability to shoot fire from his right hand. The arm band on his right arm protects him and prevents the great flame inside of him from eating him alive.

When Recca was a baby, he was sent 400 years into the future by his mother in order to protect him from the bloodshed and slaughtering of the Hokage Ninjas in that era.

In the future world, he meets Sakoshita Yanagi(Anna Yanagi), a girl who goes to his school and is about his age, and swears to be her ninja, saying that she is his His Hime(Princess). For a reason unknown to him, he was a great obsession with ninjas and has always wanted to be one. This obsession has led him to learn many of the ninja's techniques, giving him the ability of a great fighter. His fighting motto has always been, "If you defeat me, I will be happy to be your ninja" (which has gotten him into a bit of trouble...).

Recca got his band on his left cheek from Kurei, Recca's older brother. In the past, Recca and Kurei have different mothers but the same father. Their father is a leader of the Hokage Ninjas. Kurei's mother intended to kill Recca because when Recca was born, soon he was told to be a great leader too someday that's why Kurei's mother was jealous and wanted her son to be the one. She let Kurei,with a knife,enter a room where Recca was sleeping and nobody is there. Kurei was about to stab him when suddenly Recca's mother and relatives came and stopped Kurei. Kurei only hit him on his left cheeks and left a mark.

Sakotisha Yanagi (Anna Yanagi) has a strong love for children and works at a day care center.

She was working with children when Recca first saw her, and it was this fated first meeting where he saved her life pushing her out from under the falling pipes only to be seriously injured himself. In turn, Anna used her special healing power to heal his wounds, and a relationship soon blossomed. Because of this unusual and special power of Anna's, Mori Kouran wants to do tests on her to see if perhaps she is the key to the Hokage Ninja's 400 year old immortal technique.

Overall, Anna is a sweet and cheerful girl and serves the purpose of the stereotypical "Damsel in Distress", aka "Recca's Princess"

Anna Yanagi has an uncanny resemblance of Dylan's sister. The team was always nice to her because of her gentle and kind attitude. Anna has a nice,cute,and caring face. She heals some characters in the story. And she always cares about the team.

Fuuko Kirisawa (Airra Kirisawa) is an old friend of Recca's since childhood. They have been fighting since forever because she has always wanted the title of Princess so Recca could be her ninja. Of coarse, she was really really pissed to find out Anna had gotten the title first and was even more dismayed to discover that Recca hadn't become Anna's ninja because she defeated him. Instead, he had become her ninja because he wanted to.

Because of this jealousy, Emma Kagehoushi was able to convince Airra to take the Elemental item, Fujin, the God of Wind, so that she could defeat Recca. In the process of fighting Recca with the wind, the Fujin took her over(because she was not strong enough to control it), and her powers grew to the extent of creating a tornado which would have killed her if Recca and Max had not found out a way to interfere...

Airra, overall, is a tomboy with an attitude, but her ability to fight with her throwing knives and her behavior is what makes her admirable...

Airra Kirisawa is kind but sometimes she shouts so loud. Her fighting skills are good especially when being teased. She has this cool color of her hair. Unlike the other Hokage, she has a high rate of speed.

Once one of the element masters with Kurei, Kaoru (Lorkan) loves strong people and a good fight.

He is only in junior high but has mastered his elemental item, Kougan Anki, which has five sides.

Overall, Lorkan is not a bad person, but loves to tease others, especially Recca.

Lorkan Kuganei is a funny person but a nice kid. Lorkan often hugs Anna Yanagi thinks she was his big sister. Whenever Lorkan hugs Anna, Recca and Dylan hit him. Lorkan is a smart kid and can solve puzzles.

Emma Kagehoushi (real name"Kagero") is Recca's real mother who has been cursed to be immortal because she used the Hokage Ninja's Time Manipulation technique to send Recca into the future.

At first, she appears evil because she manipulates Recca's friends to attack him, but this is only so that he may become stronger.

Emma Kagehoushi(Kagero) knows a lot about Hokage. She knows all the elemental items by just looking at it's power. She is a nice mother, but she or Recca can't hold together because of the curse.

Ishijima Domon (Max Doemon) is an old enemy of Recca's who becomes a friend during Recca's battle with Airra and her Fujin.

He was often referred to by Recca as a "Nosed-ringed Mongoloid", which, needless to say, really pissed him off. His goal had been to defeat Recca and make him his personal servant, but that soon stopped when he found out Recca was already Anna's personal ninja.

Max has incredible strength and isn't always really smart, but he is really a comical character, and that is what makes him so lovable. Later, he receives the elemental item, Saturn's Ring, to help enhance his power and strength, which really aids Recca's cause...

Max Doemon is not the smartest character in the team. He acts first before thinking during battle but later on the battle, he will solve the solution on how to defeat the opponent.
