At True Colours Farm, we believe that the quality of our foals depends just as much on our mares as it does on our stallions. We strive to find broodmares that will also bring outstanding conformation, movement, attitude, bloodlines and of course, colour, to the foals we produce. Please meet the VERY special broodmares of True Colours Farm...

"WOW!"
A stunning and unique bay sabino 1995 Thoroughbred mare, standing 16.1hh, by Puchilingui out of She's A Trap by American Trader. This wildly colored Thoroughbred mare raced for 2 years, had 5 starts, was placed, and is a half sister to 2 winners. Her dam - She's A Trap - was a successful dressage horse.
This wonderful mare comes from a very well known colour producing line and will be a tremendous asset to us for many years to come!
She is dual registered as a Paint with the APHA as well as a Thoroughbred with the Jockey Club. She had a FABULOUS buckskin & white sabino Thoroughbred filly - FAUX FINISH - by Guaranteed Gold on June 1, 2004! Faux Finish has finished a phenomenal year in the 3 year old Hunter Breeding division, won both classes at her first show Under Saddle at The Meadows in NJ, and was named Reserve Champion of that division...
She has been confirmed back in foal to Guaranteed Gold for a May 2010 foal - another full sibling to Faux Finish, Chai Latte, Stonewashed, Remember My Name, TCF Nightlight and Blonde In A Motel!
"Faux Finish"
This fabulous 2004 Thoroughbred mare by Guaranteed Gold out of Puchi Trap, standing just under 17hh, is a stunning, unique one of a kind mare that has now been confirmed in foal to the equally fabulous black sabino WB stallion - Redwine - for an April 2010 foal! She is shown above as a 2 year old ...RFF Pearlescent
We are thrilled to announce the addition of this very special, very unique, very valuable addition to our True Colours Farm breeding program!
This beautiful 2006 Thoroughbred filly by RFF King's Ransom out of Lissa's Gold Legacy is a double dilute PERLINO filly. It means that she will produce dilute colouring (palomino, buckskin or smoky black) with all of her foals, 100% of the time and when bred to the cremello TB stallion Guaranteed Gold, will produce a cremello or perlino offspring 100% of the time ...
This beautiful filly will be a tremendous asset to our breeding program for many years to come and at this time, no other farm or breeding program is able to offer the 100% guarantee of double dilute colouring in every single foal they produce!
She combines the very best in dilute Thoroughbred bloodlines with the cross to Milkie's Desire through the sire line (known for some outstanding hunters he produced!) and Glitter Please through her dam line (with the strong and successful dressage background associated with those bloodlines ...) and she will provide Warmblood stallion owners with a unique opportunity to obtain a well bred, tall, fabulous moving double dilute dam for their foal, by their stallion.
She is confirmed back in foal to Guaranteed Gold for a VERY special foal in April 2010!
***Her 2009 in utero foal has been sold to the USA and her 2010 in utero foal (perlino and smoky cream option only - cremello is still available!) has been sold to Germany!***
American Iris
This lovely bay based sabino / Dominant White mare is by Red White N Blaze out of Nordic Policy and she is a very welcome and unique addition to our very specialized breeding program!
A lovely flat kneed, elegant hunter type mover, she should mature to the 16-16.1hh range and she should produce a fabulous and colourful dilute foal by Guaranteed Gold.
Kyrie d'Triompe
Many thanks to Barbara Livingston for these fabulous pictures of Kyrie!
Kyrie d' Triompe possesses the epitome of classic performance bloodlines.
By the fabulous Olympic jumper sire - Heisman, who was born in 1978 and was sired by the European great Furioso II, this horse grew up with the name Friesengeist. He was the European Five Year old horse of the year and spent his six year old season as a breeding stallion. Rodney Jenkins found the horse in the Netherlands and brought him to Florida in the winter of 1987 to begin what would be an illustrious career. His Grand Prix debut came in 1987 and he finished out his first season with a position on the USET and a 2nd overall in the American Grand Prix Association year-end Championships. 1990 found Heisman under the hands of Michael Matz and the winning continued. Ove a span of four years, this pair emerged victorious at the major Grand Prix stops of Cincinnati, The Hamptop Classic, both the International and National Grand Prix of Mexico, The American Grand Prix Association Championships staged n the Meadowlands, the Florida Open and the Crown Royal Grand Prix in Palm Beach. During the 1992 Olympic Trials, Heisman had just one rail down over the 10 grueling rounds and finished out as the number 1 qualifier for the USET's assault on the Barcelona Summer Games.
