His heartbroken owner had this to say about him in her email to me:

"I can't tell you how broken hearted I still am, and I know you're as devastated as I am. He was the one horse I owned who wasn't for sale, and he was the sweetest horse on the property. No one could believe he was a stud colt. I already had several people waiting to breed to him, and I was getting ready to take him to CA for some hunter breeding classes in June and July, and then the IHF in August.

I actually went to your site a few days ago, and saw Midas- he's beautiful. I would have loved to have had Rocky's brother, but I'm glad for you that he's going to Europe- that's fantastic, Donna.

I'm still at a loss for words over this, and I'm so sorry to you that our wonderful boy will never get the chance to show the world what a star he should have been. "
