Lilia is someone I've known since high school, but she moved away before my senior year (her junior year) to Virginia. Little did I know that when I moved to Virgina that we'd live about half an hour away from each other AND go to the same school!
Lilia is HARDKORE! Her favorite band is Marilyn Manson.. at least, she is REALLY into them (or, him, I guess?? heh heh heh). Hopefully I'll have pictures up soon from the 4th of July... we got rained one but at least they still had the fireworks (rain has ruined a LOT of potentially REALLY fun thingsI had scheduled for outdoors this summer.... Memorial Day at the Jersey shore.. the 4th of July.. goddamn Radiohead concert at Bull Run).
Back in high school,my sophomore year I had a gym class with Lilia, my old roommate Kim, and some other people and we were big on endowing people with nicknames. We were in the soccer playoffs in gym and our team was kicking ass, but we were up against some pretty tough competition. Our opponents had a girl on their team who we called "Axle" (afer Axle Rose) and that was the day Lilia, one of our best defensive players, decides to be late to gym class. She was forever memorialized as Soccer Dodger.
