In a little while I'm going to head over to the Bull Run library to do some work... I can't be bothered driving into Fairfax, you know... I've got some decent sized papers due next week, plus a lab reports and other junk nobody really cares about heheh....
For American Architecture, I've got to write some junk about the World Trade Center and what people want to do with the site now... then we are supposed to write our opinion what they should do... I don't know if I should be serious or just make something up because I don't have an opinion, and I doubt that's what Egon Verheyen wants to hear. I am toying with saying they should build something that is Gothic-inspired,like the Woolworth building not even a block away, and having flying buttresses and tons of friezes but it shouldn't be an office building... okay, so maybe I do have an opinion on this.. hehehe... I just think it would be very insensitive if we turn the site back into an office building (complex) but I definitely think something monumental should go there...
So, in other news... I finally saw my advisor! I take back anything I said about her being dumb for not returning my calls-she was moving her office and things got messed up apparently..she was MORE than helpful and now I am totally straightened out... I am now an Art B.A. with a concentration in Graphic Information Design with a minor in Art History (say THATten times fast!). That means I only have to take 4 classes a semester until May 2003, when I graduate on May 17th! Happy Birthday to Adam, and I graduate!
Well, enuff of my good fortune..I stopped by my old place of employment, Rugged Wearhouse, and talked to some of my old co-workers..I guess if I get really hard up for a job, I can always work there again.. or maybe not.. hahaha :-D TTYL!
Valete!
