S.W.O.A.P.C Year End Awards

The S.W.O.A.P.C. offers yearend awards for youth competing in leadline, 13 and under and 14-18. Each class offers a high point and reserve as well as an overall HP and RES for the year. To qualify you must show at 60% of the shows. Each year we get new ideas for awards. The youth also fundraise to buy our own yearend awards.

The Appaloosa Horse Club of Canada also offers various awards for youth and youth horses.They include:

YOUTH ACHEIVMENT ROLL- 30 points earned in showmanship and equitation

YOUTH ACHEIVMENT AWARD-50 points earned in showmanship and equitation

YOUTH ACHEIVMENT CHAMPION-175 point earned in showmanship and equitation

YOUTH SUPERIOR CHAMPION-350 points earned in showmanship and equitation

ANNUAL HIGH POINT YOUTH AWARD-youth collecting most national points in any showmanship and equitation

ANNUAL YOUTH VERSATILITY AWARD-youth earning most points with ONE horse in events in all age divisions.points must be earned in showmanship and equitation. One horse one rider combination.

HORSE AWARDS:

SUPERIOR YOUTH HORSE-50 points earned in halter and performance.Title given for each event that has 50 points

SUPREME YOUTH HORSE-100 points in any halter performance recognized youth class

ANNUAL HIGH POINT YOUTH HORSE AWARD-youth horse earning most national points in recognized youth horse events
