83 GL10 Convertible
This was post on USMB as a car that a wrecking yard was for sale, and would eventually be parted out if someone did not come claim it. Though I have enough projects, this one was a must have.
Qman, a fellow USMB member meet me up there, helped me get it running, enough to check it out. And got it on the tow dolly for me. I would not have been able to get it without his help. The car is in pretty rough shape but well worth fixing. We not only got it running but were able to get the power top to work, and get it closed. In addition to being able to get it started, I found out that the digital dash worked.
Things that need to be done immediately are to keep it running, without having to add gas to the carb, and getting keys for it. In additon it is now sitting in the garage to be dried out and cleaned up. Will keep adding to this as I find out more so please come back.

Update 6/2/03:
All I have to say is it looks better with the top down. Finally got it started. It starts and idles. Got the new key made and took it for it maiden vogage. It was a short trip. It is getting gas but the carb is all gummed up and when you go to take off it bogs down.
With it out of the garage, I started on the interior.

And here it is with the seats and carpet out to clean the door panels and dash.
