Melody and the land of isolia
~Chapter 1~
~The Legend~
Long long ago, in a world far beyond our imaginations. There suvived the Land of Isolia. In this both Magicial and Beautiful land, there were five Kingdoms. The Capital kingdom was the Kingdom of Unbelievable tales. The other four kingdoms were: The kingdom of Miracles, The kingdom of the Darkness, The kingdom of Legend, and the Kingdom of Light. The name of the Kingdom of unbelievable tales came from the no ending tales created in this Kingdom. The kingdom of Miracles, of curse, means that a lot of miracles have happened in this kingdom. The kingdom of Darkness, isn't really a evil place, it is just that the castle of evil was build there. Which was the place where the darknesses were really sealed. The kingdom of Legend is where all the legends in the land of Isolia were recorded. However, most legends happened in the Kingdom anyways. At last, is the Kingdom of Light. The largest Kingdom of all. It includes for seperated small Kingdoms of its own. The were: Korea, della, Morcrea, and Aroura. Also, the most odd thing about the Kingdom of Light is that it self includes a no ending supply of true and heroic Stories. For example, the greatest hero in the Kingom of Light is the Hero of Light. Who once have brought the Kingdom of Light back to Light. That is probably the main reason why he is called the Hero of light. His name was Delca. Along with his trusty unicorn Niomy. The defeated many evils and have recover the peace in the Kingdom of Light many time. People ever wondered if the Kingdom of light belongs in The land of Isolia at all. Maybe it is suppose to be on its own. But no answers was ever found for this question.
One of the greatest legend in the land of Isolia was about a young maiden named Melody, and this is how the legend begans....
~Chapter 2~
In which Melody discovers her destiny and her first weapon.
"hurry up Mel! Mamma wants us to get her some healing water from the magician beside the lake!"called Melody's Brother, Bruno outside her door. Bruno is a boy at 16 years of age. He is mean sometimes to Melody but he sure truely cares about her.
"coming brunie!" yelled Melody grumply as she turned over on her bed lazily trying to ingore Bruno's call.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me Brunie?" replied Bruno angrilly as he walks in Melody's room and let the sun shine through her window, "come on, get up, the sun is up for two hours alreally, mamma is not going to be very happy about this!"
"hey, your not suppose to just walk into my room! It is called Melody's room for a reason! I'm not your three years old little sister anymore!" yelled Melody angrily while she changed under her blanket.
"chill out, I'm still your brother" Bruno grined.
After Melody washed her face and brushed her teeths beside the fountain she and Bruno head down the lake with their water buckets.
"Bruno, how is mamma's asthma doing?" asked Melody, worried.
"She said she almost had an asthma attack this morning, thats why she wants us to get her some healing watch, just incase it is going to come again." answered Bruno.
On the way back from the magician beside the lake. Melody and Bruno both brought themselves two meller plants from the food store. They both didn't eat any breakfast. Meller plants are simmilar to cucumbers. Except they are flat, but they taste really much like cucumbers.
"Mel, I only have two red rubies left, what about you?" asked Bruno. Rubies are things that Melody and Bruno uses as money. A green ruby is one dollar. A red one is five dollars. A bllue one is ten dollars and a purple on is twenty.
"Not sure, let me check...um..." said Melody as she poked around in her pocket," somewhere around...um...25 dollars, two blue ones and one red one ."
"Hey, where did you get all that money?" asked Bruno, feeling jealous.
"Oh, when I worked for the cucco lady next door, I helped her cleaned up all the messes her cuccos made. Its is a big job, so she gave me twenty dollars for it" said Melody proudly.
Cuccos are chickens in the magic world. They can be any colour and each one of them have different voices. Only their owner, the cucco lady, knows the difference.
By the time Melody and Bruno arrived home lunch was alreally made. It was meller plants and mikas. Mikas are axtually beefs, just a different name for it.
