This is my unpublished novel - OVERTIME.
This piece of work is based on the 1972 movie titled FACE-OFF. It is the story of a hockey player named Billy Duke and a rock singer - Sherri Nelson.
The movie starred Art Hindle and Trudy Young. At the end of the movie and the book that it is based on, Sherri died.
However, in mine, she does not. And it take place the night she dies.
I disclaim any copyright laws - both from the movie and novel. I am not making any money off them, so I hope that those who did the Story Development - John F. Bassett, George Robertson and Scott Young; Screeplay Writer - George Robertson; Producer John F. Bassett and Director George McCowan will not take it out on me.
I do claim the copyrights to the characters I created - Paul and Cindy Williams, Derek Thurston, and Billy and Sherri's children - Ezra, Esther, Rebecca, Michael, Hanna, Christopher, Hope Duke.
I also hope that the former Toronto Maple Leaf players mentioned here will not be mad because I used their names - Ron Ellis, Paul Henderson, Lanny Mcdonald, Darryl Sittler, Brian Glennie, George Armstrong. I only used their names because I am a long-time Leaf and and they bring back memories.
