7/10/98 thru 4/2/99
This picture of Mariah was taken shortly before her death. None of us had seen this picture of her until her death. Her mother, Rhianna, had them
all in envelopes ready to give to us on Easter. The picture was so fitting of her, she was our little angel. She was a very happy
baby. Mariah had begun crawling at the age of 6 months and was pulling herself up and trying to walk. Mariah could spend
a lot of time looking at herself in the mirror and laughing. She brought joy to everyone around her.
Mariah was killed in a car accident at the very young age of 8 months on April 2, 1999 (Good Friday), along with her mother. We will cherish this
picture of her forever, and as the background of this page says "Some People Only Dream Of Angels, I Held One In My Arms",
well we did, we held Mariah and will always hold her dear to our hearts.

WHY GOD TAKES CHILDREN
When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with,
the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world,
seem so wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold,
So He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few,
To make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try,
The saddest world mankind knows
will always be Good-bye.
So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find.
