This site was created using emacs on an old dinky 80486, with a 14400bps connection. And proud of it. ;)
I'm a self-taught HTML-er, CSS-er and JavaScript-er. Never picked up a book on those [and never will ;)] Hey, works for me :)
If you're wondering how to get in touch and don't care about that why this and why that crap, scroll down to the heading that says Where am I?

Because more and more people are going online, and many of them are trying to create webpages with Basic editors provided by most free hosting services. And the results? Bland-looking pages. I mean, you can customize colours all you want, but nothing compares to a DIY web site that has been built with care and dedication.

Why didn't I cover many so-called `advanced' features of web design [ie. CGI, VBScript, frames, ActiveX, Java, etc..]? Because most of those `advanced' features make your site inaccessible to thousands of people with older browsers, text-based browsers, or browsers that have everything but text turned off. And contrary to what you may think, there are quite a few people out there who don't have time to wait for some huge graphic to load, especially if that graphic serves no good purpose. And my goal is to show you how to create interoperable webpages.

I realize that it isn't enough to just make this webpage and make you figure everything out on your own if you don't understand something. So I have provided a way for you to contact me if you need any help. I must caution you of some things, however:

• Only ask me questions about material featured on this site. If you email me with questions about frames or Java or anything that I didnt' talk about, I will simply ignore your message.
• Please be very specific in your message, and include as much information as possible. I can't help you if you write "Hi! I can't get my HTML to work!" and nothing else.
• If you send me HTML/CSS code, don't send your whole page/.css file. Send the part that you are having trouble with and I'll look it over for you. Don't send me JavaScript to debug - that is something that I really don't have time for.
