This school was founded about the time of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. The knights tried running this all girl school but unfortunately the girls were too much for these "manly" knight to rule. Instead these knights gave up on trying to reform these girls and handed the school over to the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth several centuries later.
In truth, this school was founded in 1860 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth. It began as a boarding school and later became a regular high school. The Academy if St. Elizabeth is a Middle States Accredited school and is an excellent school if you want to pay $7000 a year to send your daughter to a school which will absolutely shelter her from everything in this world.
THe Academy, of course, is located near Morristown New Jersey and is located on the campus of Saint Elizabeth's College. Students come from as far away as Madison, Morristown, Dover, Sterling, and East Hanover
The student body at this time consists of less than 250 students. I must admit though that the teaching staff is, for the most part, excellent. Extracuricular activities are almost no existent, which really doesn't matter if all you're worried about is getting into Ivy League. Technology you ask? What technology?! We have a computer lab where each computer has .5 a gig of memory and slow as all hell. We do have a scanner (mainly as the result of doing an in house school paper this year) and we will have a computer class next year but the results of that is yet to be seen.
