1. Open a new image 500x500 so you have room to work. Background color whatever you like. |

2. Click the "Preset Shapes" tool, then on the "Tool Options" window find and select the "Top Hat".

Click on your blank image in the upper left portion and draw the figure down to the bottom of the image. The actual size and shape are not that important at this point, as vectors are very easy to resize.

3. Click on the "Object Selector" tool, , then reshape and resize the object to your liking by using the resize handles on the object selector.

4. On the Layer Palette, select the vector layer and click the + to reveal all the shape comprising the hat. |

| Turn off the third and fourth "Drawing" visbility, by clicking the eyeglasses on each one. |
