Discontinued Ultra Rare Paulson Chips

These were used in the casino at Mullet Bay in St. Maarten, which was blown out by a hurricane in the mid 1990's. These Bud Jones poker chips feature the Mullet Bay Casino logo on a nice metal inlay. Even with the metal inlay, they weigh a robust 13 grams, perfect play weight. They have a definite metallic ring to them and feel very nice overall. They are in a completely different league compared to any other composite metal inlay chips.

THESE ARE BY FAR THE RAREST PAULSON CHIPS ANYWHERE, & WE BOUGHT EVERYONE AVAILABLE. THERE ARE CURRENTLY LESS THAN 20,000 CHIPS LEFT IN RETAIL CIRCULATON. THE PRICE OF THESE CHIPS SHOULD HIT OVER $4.00 EACH IN A FEW YEARS. AcePokerChips Sold out of these at $1000 for 500 chip sets.

Bud Jones PAULSON (GPI) has announced they will no longer make coin inlay chips (NOT EVEN FOR CASINOS), making the demand for these chips skyrocket.

They came in denominations of $1,$5,$25,$100, see below for complete pictures.

They are in mint condition showing no sign of wear and tear. These chips are all mint and in un-circulated condition. These were recovered from the vault after the hurricane, and these are very limited

Poker Chip Experts already know these chips, but if you want to get a feel for them, click the banner below (views our other items) and purchase a smaller set, individuals, or a 4 chip sample set. Don't be disappointed when you like them and we don't have enough for a full set though.

Here is a review of these chips by homepokertourney.com where they say that this is the best metal inlay chip there is:

“It was almost impossible to scratch the metal with a knife. The inlay is one solid piece that is embedded into the plastic molding and cannot be removed without intentionally ruining the chip. The composite is a little better than a typical composite chip and there is a feeling of quality to this chip. The colors are very deep and scratching with a knife resulted in little visible damage.

There are four edge spots on each chip. There are small bars on the rolling between each edge spot. This looks better than it does on most chips with this feature. The overall effect of the edge spots with suits on them is nice. There are two versions available of the red and green chips, striped or solid edge spots. There are no edge ridges on this chip. There is no injection mold spot that I could see.

I was sent 5 sample chips. Diameters were 39.39, 39.49, 39.33, 39.55, and 39.43mm. Five chips stacked together is 16.60mm thick.

This is a very nice chip, probably the nicest of the metal inlay chips.- July 2005”.

Precise Descriptions Of Each Denomination:

$1 chips (Classic Paulson chip in Grey without the metal inlay. The $1 chips at Mullet Bay Casino didn't have metal inlays, probably because they cost almost 50% to produce)

$5 chips (red base color, 8 white edge spots), there is also an extremely rare $5 chip with blue edge spots, we only have a few of these, email us for more information on them)

$25 chips (green base color, 8 watermelon (light pink) edge spots)

$100 chips (black base color, 12 lavender edge spots)
