A bit about me. . . .
- I'm originally from College Point, a section of northern Queens County
in New York City.
- I was born in Flushing Hospital on Thursday, June 22
- I attended Archbishop Molloy
high school in Jamacia, Queens. I am a member
of the 1979 graduating class. In 1999, US New & World Report recognized Molloy
as one of the outstanding secondary schools in the United States.
- In 1983, I graduated
from New York University
where I received my BS in Management and Computer Science.
- After graduation, I moved to the town of Pomona in Rockland County,
New York and started working for
IBM in Sterling Forest.
- I continued to attend graduate school at night and in 1986, I completed
my MBA in Finance and International Business at the
Stern School of Business
at NYU. The Finance program at Stern is currently ranked third among
graduate business schools in the US.
- In April of 1985, I purchased my first house along Gate Hill Road in the
town of Stony Point in Rockland County, New York.
- I completed my MA in psychology from
Long Island University in 1988.
- I moved to North Carolina in June of 1989 to take a job with IBM in
Research Triangle Park.
- In July of 1989, I moved into my house here in
Cary, North Carolina.
- In January of 2000, I began my ME degree in Computer Science at
North Carolina State University. I
am part of the Video Based
Engineering Education program.
- On June 5, 2000, I joined Weight Watchers here at work to try and get
some help to get rid of some of this extra poundage. See my diet progress
here.
- This fall I will be taking ECE570 Computer Networks. If any of you out
there have taken this class, drop me a note and let me know what I'm
in for.
