Who are the jackass penguins??
hehehehehehe..hey, it's lara. gosh...I don't know how I even remembered the password to get into this...doesn't matter, cuz no one's gonna read it anyways. so, I'm talking to myself. Anyways, self, TJAP has become the TJAP Rededication Project. When did this start? January? I think so...I think it was when I went to Megz's house after my parents told me they're getting divorced, which would have been January. It's now June? Yes...and, what have we done so far? Umm..I gave Megz a tape of the spoon song a long time ago. she's "working on it". came up with a slogan! The Jackass Penguins: Singing you songs about talking utencils who are friends with skateboarding elephants till the zebras come home. My brother recently (today) described TJAP as this: TJAP i think was more along the ways of "old school new school lunch time at school 12th wave 5th generational hynotic trance countrified pop music"
Hey yo'! welcome to the jackass penguins web page! This is the official page! don't be fooled by ALL of the fan pages out there. ha! there are no tjap fans let alone fan pages. anyways... it started back in '98 when laura and megan went to a detroit vipers hockey game and were listenin to reel big fish in the van on the way there, laura said to megan "hey we should start a band" megan waz like "uh.. cool" and from there on we have been on our way! in a year we have picked out our name and learned how ta play insturments! so you ask how we got our name?? one day in the 1st quarter of skool, laura and megan were sittin in history and saw a picture of a jackass penguin (yes! it really is an animal in africa!)and they thought "hey that would be a kick ass name for our punk band!" so there we were a step further to forming our band! I think for the time being we're just gonna deal with out horns. we'll get em eventually. At this point, the jackass penguins are in the process of reforming. we've been on an un-official "hiatus". we kinda broke up, and gave up, but now we're back, and with one new song! and no one else in our band! we always need a drummer, and horns would be appreciated as well.
