    Navigating the World Wide Web

Moving around the World Wide Web happens in number of ways.

    1. If you know the address of a Web page, you can enter it into the browser's location window.

The address of a Web Page is called the Uniform Resource Locator, or URL

    2. You can also use the browser's navigation buttons to go back and forth between pages you have visited.

    3. Most of the navigation on the World Wide Web occurs through the use of links.
