Key:
V= value
Q= Quantity
T= Total
Purpose:
In order to ensure "content-rich" pages,
and also give students a clean way to divide group responsibilities,
I developed this content rubric.
Each student had to contribute 30 points
to the group's total, and 20 of those points had to be content points.
A student who was failry uncomfortable
with the technical side could choose to conrtibute 30 content points in
total. A student who was artistically inclined might choose to contribute
20 content points and 10 design points.
The Technical guru's of the group were
still required to get into the text and contribute 20 content points before
they went off and made all the bells and whistles.
The rubric still needs some tweaking- the content requirements are quite high, and those in larger groups struggled. I am convinced, however, that this rubric played a large part in preventing "all-style- no - substance" pages from each of the students who participated.
*** note *** this rubric does not evaluate
the quality of the student's work. I used separate rubrics for that purpose.
