Content and Style
This is the substance of your page. After
you take away the bells and
whistles, what are we left with?
What I'm looking for here is evidence
that you have read the text closely, done some deeper thinking about the
lines, applied some of the close-reading techniques that we have done this
term.
A page that only contains links of definitions
will not get very high content marks.
Also, don't forget that you also need
to hand in a small piece of writing to accompany your project. (review
the project assignment instructions
if you've forgotten about this)

Webby Aspects
I will be evaluating the web design aspect
of your projects based on the
criteria listed on
this web site:
http://scnc.lsd.k12.mi.us/~bmorrow/rubric.htm
***Take Note***
If you look at the evaluation, you will
notice that you could produce a
Level 5 web page even if you
only have very basic knowledge of HTML.
The important thing is what you do
with what you've got.
Make good use of the tools you have. Some
of the best web pages use very
simple code.
By contrast, some of the worst pages are
bad because the designers went
'code-happy' and overloaded
the pages with so many bells and whistles
that the page scares you away!
For some fun examples of this, check out
this page called, "Top Ten Ways to
Tell if you have a Sucky Home Page"

Keep up the good work, folks. Remember,
a web page is never truly complete.
You will always want to add more to the
page. Now is the time to start
setting some goals and
deciding on what things you want to have
done by next Tuesday.
