How to get ahead in Advertising

Working in groups of three, create an imaginary product to market to R.H. King students and develop a week long advertising campaign.

Group responsibilities:

a) develop a written plan in which you describe your objectives and include the following information:   the media you intend to use,
                                    an operating budget
                                    a schedule
b) design a logo for your product
c) write a paragraph evaluating the success of your campaign
 

Individual responsibilities
Each person in the group will write a paragraph on one of the following topics, to be submitted with written plan, logo and evaluation:

a) Describe your product and its many virtues.
b) Why is it appropriate to market this product to this population?
c) For two of your advertisements, identify which advertising claims are being made, and/or describe the approach of the ad.
 

At the end of the campaign, we will conduct a survey to see which team achieved the greatest brand name awareness. The winning team gets a free large pizza for lunch.
