Each group will have a budget of $100 000 *** . This will provide the salaries for the groups and the operating costs.
Salaries
Minimum: $5 000 per person
Maximum: $20 000 per person
This campaign is a simulation of a three month campaign, so to think of the salaries in somewhat realistic terms, $5 000 over three months would be a $20 000 annual salary, whereas $20 000 would represent a $80 000 annual salary.

*** There is an option
to do a campaign for “Buy Nothing Day”. As this is a ‘product’ of a not-for
profit organization, they do not have to pay taxes and have received some
extra government funding so the budget for this campaign is $120 000.
Mrs. Parrish is the Public
Relations co-ordinator for the “Buy Nothing Day” organization. If you want
your team to get this campaign, you will have to submit a proposal (one
paragraph) explaining why you are the best advertising company for this
campaign.
