"Far, far away, there is a land known as Hyperia. Many creatures you feared as a child, that your parents told you are nonexistant -- exist. And those that don't -- did. All of the dreams, nightmares, imaginary places and friends -- all that existed to you only as a child are here in Hyperia. In this land, the creatures that people are only aware of in dreams thrive. It is a land of hope, sorrow, and magic. The powers that all must abide by are those of dreams -- whether they be good or evil. Some would actually say that it is the land from which our dreams come. Lost messages sent through time and space to happen upon you in your sleep. No matter what perspective from which this land is encountered, be it by travel or mind alone, it does exist, and you are there."
