Linda Fiedler
Linda is a prize-winning quilt maker, teacher (local, regional and national), author and judge whose quilts have won awards at many of the large national and international shows. She is among the prestigious perennial winners at the Mid-Atlantic quilt Festival. Through the years Linda has become less traditional, but still creates designs based on traditional patterns. Inspired by colors from the natural world, she loves studying the never-ending interactions of different color combinations that quilting provides.
Linda is particularly well-known for her thread painting and machine embroidery skills. At right see the thread painted details at the center of the quilt.
