This Page is dedicated in loving memory of my High School Band Director and Color Guard Advisor who were killed in a Car accident on July 12, 1998 when a car swerved on their side of the road and hit them head on.
It makes me so sad when I think about all of the people who are unable to be touched by them, because I know that I wouldn't be the person that I am today without them. But at the same time I feel so lucky that god let them stay here long enough to touch my heart.
When it came time for me to write my college essays I knew with no doubt in my mind that I had to write about Schrec and Lori. Please read the essay linked below, although it only hits the surface on what the two of them have done to make me who I am today.
Going the Distance
It was once said by someone that the only true atrocity would be if we didn't think about them and talk about them everyday. This page is my small way of helping to keep thier memories alive. I can only hope that I am able to live each day with the same passion that the two of them did.
