The Bunny Family Adventures:
"Hop To It!"

It was a day in Carrot Town! The Bunny Family almost hopped their way into TROUBLE.

Such a busy day at 777 Lettuce Patch Way. Every-bunny was doing their chores! Since it was such a BIG , every-bunny had to do their job (so Mom would not have to do all the work by herself!)

Father washed the clothes and the dishes!!

BIG brother had his hands full with vaccuming and dusting the whole house. Little brother cleaned the goldfish bowl! Little sister picked up her !

Mother cooked the because it tasted best when she prepared it!

BIG sister was supposed to the grass and the . Instead, she was playing outside on the !! All of a sudden she fell off and hurt her foot!! OUCH!!

Father came running when he heard BIG sister yell OUCH!! BIG sister went with her father to the bunny hospital and the doctors said, "don't walk for a few weeks, rest and it will be fine." But all BIG sister could think about was "Who would the grass and who would the "???? And she was right!!

The weeks went by, and the flowers got so thirsty they all fell over . The grass got so TALL that nobody could see Little sister playing.

Big sister was feeling better and decided to go outside and look at the and the grass.

Y I K E S !!!!!

Big sister couldn't believe her eyes!! No-bunny the or the grass while I was sick!! And, where is little sister ?

Big sister marched into the and called for every-bunny to come into the living room. FAMILY MEETING!

Every-bunny sat down , except for little sister , of course because she was lost in the TALL grass.

Big sister told the family how awful the grass and the looked and how little sister was lost in the TALL grass because no-bunny did her chores when she was sick!

Mother quickly reminded big sister how she was playing on the instead of doing her chores in the first place!

Big sister looked down, a little embarrassed. "You are right, Mother. I am sorry. I should have done my chores first."

Mother smiled and hugged her daughter. "And, one of us could have done your chores while you were sick. We are sorry too." Every-bunny nodded and agreed.

Big brother went outside and the grass. Little brother went outside and the . Father and big sister found little sister while Mother made her famous for lunch!

Every-bunny had a great lunch and it turned out to be a day.

The two lessons learned by the Bunny Family were:

1. Responsibility. You should always be responsible and do the job you are supposed to do. Once you are done, there is plenty of time for play!! Little sister should have cut the grass and watered the flowers before she played on the trampoline.

2. Consideration and kindness. Always be considerate and kind to people, especially to the people you live with! When you are kind to someone you feel good about yourself. The Bunny Family should have done big sister's chores for her while she was sick because it would be a nice thing to do!
