The Day I Married You

What a wonderful celebration we had. All of our friends and family around us, celebrating our wedding day. As I walked down the aisle, on my father's arm, I can still hear the guitar softly strumming Longer Than.

I cannot forget how handsome and happy you looked as we exchanged identical vows:
"Because your love means so much to me, I offer you my heart. As your partner in life I will share your joys and your sorrows, your laughter and your tears. I will always love you, comfort you and support you."

I remember clearly how it rained in the morning and I how I was so disappointed ~ but just as we came out of the church, the sun poked its way out and shone on our day!

I remember how we never really had our "first dance" (due to unforseen pranksters...ha ha). Maybe, on our 25th?

I remember how our wedding caterers boasted a record bar tab (what kind of friends did we have back then?)

But the thing I remember most, is that it was still the happiest day of my life. Thank you for making me your bride.
