Coolant Change TSB
New G12 Coolant

Below is the procedure to change the regular G11 coolant found in your Corrado to the new G12 coolant. The G12 coolant (redish/pink in colour) is a better all-round coolant for VR6 Corrados because it is more compatible with the VR6 aluminum engine. The G11 coolant is known to cause pitting within the head and it is recommended that you change your coolant from the old G11 to the new G12. However, it is important that these two coolants are not mixed (as engine damage may result). If you do the switchover, follow the directions below very carefully. If you do not want to switch the coolant over from G11 to G12, then it is recommended you have a coolant change every year! Yes, every single year. If you own any Corrado besides the VR6, then you do not need to change your coolant over to the new G12 because they do not have the same problems the VR6 engines encounter with the G11 coolant.
