There is only one way to enter God's kingdom. Jesus Christ said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6) He also said, "except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God:" (John 3:3)

What must we do to be "born again" or "saved"? What must we do to enter God's kingdom? Why must we be born again?

We must be born again in order to enter the Kingdom of God because we are seperated from God by sin. Maybe you think this message is not for you since you do not consider yourself a sinner because you have always lived a good and moral life. The Bible shows us there is none that is without sin, except Jesus Christ.

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" (Romans 3:10) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23) "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." (1John 1:8)

The Bible also shows us that there is a price on our sin (even just one sin): "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) The "death" spoken of here is not only physical death, but also spiritual death - eternal separation from God.

How can we be reconciled or joined back with God if we are seperated by sin? How can we be "saved" from our sins? Is there anything we can do that will make things better? Ephesians 2:8-9, tells us, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

How do we receive this "gift"? By receiving Jesus Christ into our heart as Saviour, we receive the gift of God. Like any other gift that is offered, we must accept in order to receive it. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12)

In 1 John 1:9 we read, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We must first realize that we are sinners in need of salvation, and confess that fact to God, calling on Him to save us from those sins. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) God has already sent a substitute to pay the price of our sins, "But God commendeth (demonstrated) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) But the gift of salvation must still be received.

Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteous- ness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Can it be that simple? Yes! If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, you receive forgiveness for all your sins and God's gift of eternal salvation by faith, through His grace.

The following is a suggested prayer:

"Lord, I confess that I am a sinner and in need of forgiveness. I believe that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ who shed His blood and died for my sins; and that You raised Him from the dead. I ask you to forgive me for my sins. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and ask You LORD to lead me in Your path of rightious as You come into my life as My Lord and Saviour. In Jesus Christ name, Amen."

Please consider these things and act now! Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you lose all. Our plea is for you to consider where you will spend eternity - God's Kingdom or hell - the choice is yours. "...behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:2 b)
