I'm not trying to compete with WebShots here. I make my own desktop wallpapers and just wanted to share some of the ones I've created.
I recommend using the "Stretch" feature on the desktop properties for these. They would also look good "centered," but I just "stretch" them as a personal preference. The solid borders around them are for icon space. I've found that when I use a backdrop that is too busy, its hard to see the icons.
Right click on the image of choice and either save it to your hard drive, or "Set as background."

Ok, this one wasn't taken from a picture of a real rose bouquet, it started out as a fabric swatch!
