I n 1983 a family safari company called Camdeboo Safaris was established. The company has grown and expanded over the years, concentrating on the American and local markets. Our current endeavor is to embrace the European tourist market, that they too might enjoy the fruits of our success.

One of our more significant expansion projects was a luxury, thatched safari camp with all the comforts of home. Situated in a tranquil valley of the Toorberg Mountain Range, lies our beautiful camp nestled amongst the indigenous trees and shrubs.

Situated in the tranquil Camdeboo Valley of the Sneeuberg (Snowmountain) Range, comfortable thatched chalets built around the indigenous "wild olive trees" encircle a fully catered dining room, bar, fire place and entertainment area. Duveted beds and hot showers make the accomodation home away from home.

Meals reflect the legendary hospitality of the Karoo and roast legs of delicious venison and tender springbuck filet steaks are but a few of the gourmet meals that will be enjoyed under the stars in the adjacent boma relaxing around an open fire.
