Cheats for Final Fantasy VII

See Aeris After She Dies:

Get the Gate Key item from Bone Village and go to the church in Midgar and you have a 1 in 10 chance of seeing her.

Buy GP at Gold Saucer:

Go to the entrance of Gold Saucer and a man will randomly appear in the three lights in the back. Talk to him and he will offer to sell you GP.

Get Faster Chocobos:

While in a chocobo race, hold all the shoulder buttons (L1 +L2 +R1 +R2) to get a faster speed.

Get Easy Money:

When in the Corel Prison or walking around the desert in Cactrot Island, you may fight a Cactrot, which give you 10,000 Gil everytime.

Get Easy Tetra Elementals:

Go to Cactrot Island and walk around until you fight a Cactrot. Then fight it until it has low life and Morph it. It will turn into a Tetra Elemental.

Get Lucky 7777 Fever:

To get this to work you must have a character at 7777 hp. You may have to hurt your own character or use hp up materia, but when the character is at 7777, he/she will attack at 7777 damage until the battle is won. Note: The character will go down to 1 hp after the battle is done.

Item Duplication:

You only need the W-Item Materia. During a battle, have the character with W-item pick a highlighted item that you want to duplicate. Then pick any other item. When the cursor is over a character, press "cancel" and your first item will increase to its original number. Then, press "accept" and then "cancel" over and over until you have 99 of the item.

Getting Quadra Magic Materia:

To get the Quadra Magic Materia, you will need a Blue, Black, or Gold Chocobo. Then go to the Mideal Area and it will be located on an inland on the east edge of the map in the bright green cave.

Easy Quadra Magic Materia:

To get the Quadra Magic Materia with out a special chocobo, go to the island in the Highwind until you reach the cliff which leads to the cave. Try to land the Highwind on the edge of the cliff and if you do it right the Highwind will land on the cliff and Cloud will appear on the bottom, from where you may access the cave. Note: This does not work all the time, you may have to be at the right angle for it to work.

Getting The Knights Of The Round:

Knights of the Round is a very powerful summon that you can get to only with a Gold Chocobo. Go to the North East corner of the world and you should see a island surrounded by cliffs and covered in forests inside. Go to the cave inside and you will find the Summon.

Avoiding the Midgar Zolom

To avoid the Midgar Zolom without a Chocobo: Run part way across the marsh and save your game before the Zolom can get to you. Reset the game and continue, you will be right where you left off but the Zolom will be at its "starting point". After doing this a few times you can cross the marsh with no Zolom fights!

Note: This does work, but this... is gay. Why would anyone need to avoid it? Getting a chocobo is easier and quicker. Or even leveling up your elemental materia and gaining the Beta Enemy skill would take less time, and give you an awesome spell.

Defeating Gi Natakk:

In the caves inside Cosmo Canyon you will have to fight a boss called Gi Natakk. You can easily defeat him by just giving him an x-potion or any other type of healing item. This will kill him in one hit.
