Dear Season Subscriber and Patron of the Theatre:
Please accept our apologies for this tardy letter.
As many of you know, our '97 season came to a stand still as we tried to acquire our own theatre facility. Unfortunately, that did not transpire and it became too late to book a space in a prime theatre for the rest of the season.
As a result, our '97 season got pushed to '98 in which we be performing our remainder two shows, GILA by Mark Medoff starring Heather Tom and a premier of a new play, CHANGE AT BABYLON by Brian Paul Mendoza starring Chad Allen.
In addition to these new plays, all subscribers and patrons will receive a third show, THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, ABRIDGED which will kick off our '98 season in May at the Globe Theatre in West Hollywood.
GILA will open in the middle of summer at the Odyssey Theatre in Santa Monica and CHANGE AT BABYLON and its theatre is TBA. You will receive another letter prior to each production giving you details on selecting a performance evening you wish to attend.
We're very excited about our season with two new plays and one new playwright, (Mendoza) who we are proud to launch. Both plays have great potential to move to Broadway!
If you have any further questions, feel free to call me direct at (213) 937-3891. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
See you at the theatre in May!
